We had a spacious two-story, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, three-balcony suite with lovely mountain views. It also had a kitchenette, separate dining area, and an upstairs sitting area. We went to the pools (main pool, whirlpool, and children's play pool) twice a day--there's a fourth, adults-only pool that we didn't visit. The resort is very close to central Garmisch and easily walkable. It's only a few minutes drive (by car or by the hotel's shuttle bus) to the Hausbergbahn. The kids enjoyed the minigolf course, the game room, and the buffets. We've stayed at several resorts in the Zugspitze area and would gladly return to this one.

The indoor swimming pool of the Obermühle 4*S Boutique Resort has large panoramic windows with mountain view. Guests can also enjoy a hot tub as well as a modern spa area with a salt sauna, a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, steam baths, an infrared cabin and several relaxation areas. The premium spa offers an infinity pool and free access is included for specific room categories and for guests booking a massage treatment. The garden includes a sunbathing lawn. The Obermühle 4*S Boutique Resort is an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions. In summer, guests can rent electric bicycles. Popular activities include hiking, cycling and winter sports. Eibsee Lake and Ettal Abbey are a 15-minute drive. Popular Linderhof Castle is 30 minutes away by car. Free private parking is available on site and additional garage parking is available for a fee. The hotel offers a free shuttle service.
