Hotel Ochsen  

Efficient, long-established family-run hotel in an ideal location for the delights of Lake Constance. Central yet quiet, with its own sizable car park. Good breakfast choice. Stylish and up-to-date decor but with a sense of history and a feeling of spaciousness. A touch of luxury without costing the earth.

I liked everything actually, including the entertaining grey parrot. Very light and well-appointed room, with balcony and comfortable chair. Excellent choice at breakfast and good coffee. Very welcoming on arrival, and efficient, pleasant and polite throughout. Good parking facilities. Although not on the lakeside, still very close to it but away from the noise of people. Would certainly stay here again.

Charming hotel with a great staff. We enjoyed our first stay in Uberlingen. Fantastic location...this hotel right on the frontage and seconds to the waterfront. You can view the water from your room. The lake is fantastic. Boats, ferry walking distance from this hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Many great city walks, low hills, and interesting historic finds throughout the city. Wednesday had an amazing farmers market (buy a sausage grilled outside!!!) a great find. Tons of great shopping and fabulous restaurants withint minutes from the hotel. The hotel has a lovely outside patio and upstairs patio for enjoying the views of the Bodensee (Lake Constance).

Was on a return trip from Italy on a motorbike. A great hotel, good location 1/3rd of the way home! Nice clean room and very friendly staff. 30Seconds from the edge of Lake constance with stunning views. Was able to park the bike in the garage overnight which is always a benefit as it was unfortunately raining! Ate evening meal in the restaurant, food was excellent! Breakfast, typically German - nothing exciting but good fare.

I have stayed at the Ochsen several times and each time has been a pleasure and delight. The Waldschuetz family are very welcoming and the staff are capable and friendly. The location, so close to the Bodensee, is ideal for walks or for just sitting and watching the lake and the birds. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and well-maintained, modern bathrooms. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant is excellent. Service in the dining room is very professional and friendly. I plan my visits to Ueberlingen based on whether there is a room free at the Ochsen. Wonderful place to stay in every way.

Ziemlich direkt am See und mitten in der City.

Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig.

Sehr nettes Hotel. Direkt an Ufernähe und in der Nähe der tollen Uferpromenade. Supermarkt direkt in der Nähe. (Edeka)

Unkompliziertes, freundliches Personal.

Frühstück war ok, hat sich aber immer wiederholt...

Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal, schöner Blick vom Balkon auf den Bodensee und den Park, angenehm ruhig. Prima ist die private Parkmöglichkeit.

Das der Chef und die Angestellten sehr freundlich waren und alles so sauber.

Отличное месторасположение, особенно летом. Приветливый, простой в общении персонал, есть русскоговорящяя официантка. Чистые номера, правда не идеально. Интересный старый интерьер. Отель с традициями и "душой". Хороший ресторан. Есть парковка.

Совсем скудный завтрак. Номера уж очень компактные. Всего один не немецкий канал (CNN). Даже минералка в номере за дополнительную плату (1,5 Евро). В углу ванной заметил пыль - для Германии не типично.

Im Großen und Ganzen war ich sehr zufrieden. Parkplatz fürs Auto, super!!! Die Freundlichkeit im Service!!! Das gute Essen und der leckere Wein!!!

Das Bett war für mich ein bisschen zu hart.

Ambiente

Wir hatten eine Übernachtung. Das Zimmer war sehr funktionell und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Den hauseigenen Parkplatz wussten wir sehr zu schätzen. Frühstück einfach und gut. Abendessen war wirklich gut und reichhaltig. Schönes Ambiente Kostenfreies WLAN für Gäste wäre super, deswegen Service "nur" mit Gut bewertet.

Freundliche Bedienung, zentrale Lage, saubere Zimmer, sehr preisgünstig

Für Tierliebhaber ist der nicht artgerecht gehaltene Papagei ein Dorn im Auge. Der bemitleidenswerte Vogel ist keine Bereicherung, sondern ein unnötiges Übel.

Nähe zum Stadtzentrum und Seepromenade.

Vriendelijk en goed personeel. Kamer zeer netjes en uitstraling goed. Keuken bijzonder goed. Locatie direct aan de Bodensee prima. Heel gezellig ingericht familiehotel. Prima en gratis parkeergelegenheid achter slagboom voor de auto.
