although it said the room had a tv well it was a tv but a very small one i mean small and old easy enough to get train into city

the floor in reception creaked every step you took decor was dated room had a double bed as requested and a sofa and a couch plenty of room however the bathroom was tiny a bit more consideration when making the room

Although the room is small for a family of 4, it is clean and orderly. Breakfast is not sumptuous, but decent enough. Close to the train station and the main attractions. There are restaurants nearby.

The room has no air-condition. So we have to open the window, but it's noisy because the hotel is close to the main thoroughfare and the train station. After taking a shower, the bathroom was clogged with water. We asked for maintenance but they did not do anything about it. It's a very, very old building with a very poor maintenance...the walls and the ceilings have cracks. The floors are squeaking and creaking every time you walk. Would I recommend Berlin to other travelers? YES! Definitely! But I would be ashamed to recommend this hotel to anybody.

Accoglienza negativa della signora bionda,mi ha fatto aspettare quasi 30 minuti prima di darmi la chiave. Rudeness on the part of the blonde lady at the front desk, I was waiting for 30 minutes before giving the key and was always on the phone!!

It was very clean, and the breakfast they had was very diverse and tasted great.

Their photos are very deceptive online. We stayed in the quad room and it said it had 1 double, 1 couch bed and 1 single. When we got there it was 4 single beds and then they brought in a pack-n-play. I guess that is what they called the 5th single. If they had been honest up front that not all rooms had the other beds it would have been fine. At least then I would have known what I was getting into.

It was warm and friendly. The breakfast was continental and provided a good range of food

Very Courteous staff, TEGEL airport very close ny ( 15 minutes - S Bahn train and Bus ) very close to S-Bahn station Room was very airy and spacious with wifi facility . My family liked it very much. Buffet breakfast was also good. You have good options. Very reasonably priced including breakfast

It is close to the S Bahn so it is easy to travel around the city from there. There is free Wi-Fi

The staff always seem to have more important things to do then, check you in or check you out. While it is cheaply priced it is very basis.

Hotel is near bus station for those travelling by bus, although far from the city center. Room was simply furnished but it was nice and clean. Bathroom was pretty decent not that small. Breakfast was very tasty. Don't expect much for that money, but I would recommend this pension for those who just want to stay for night or two.

Lady at the reception desk wasn't very nice and berly spoke English. In some cases you need to pay 20 euros deposit for your key so prepare your money althought she didn't make us pay for some reason. Heating was broken. When we turned it on, it started making very loud noise at night so we had to turned it of. I guess it was the same in the other room too.

Stayed for three nights and can't argue with price. Location was decent enough due to the hotel being next to the s Bahn. Room is the very definition of basic. If you are just looking for a bed to sleep on, then it's ideal for you.

I've never came across more rude staff in any other hotel in my life. The attitude was that bad it was comical. Simple requests such as "we'd like to check in", "we'd like to check out" and "can you bring more fruit to the buffet?" where met with an unbelievable level of disgust. They can only be bothered offering anything that can remotely be described as a service if you speak Russian.

Great location for travelling by bus - 5 minutes walk from the main bus station (Berlin ZOB). Friendly stuff.

The old furniture, there is no air conditioning, we slept with the open windows, were very noisy.

The location to local transport links was excellent. We soon found our way to all major attractions using the S bahn etc. The price was very attractive to us. Also the fact that breakfast was included made our stay very enjoyable. We will be recommending Hotel Messe am Funkturm to our friends!

Breakfasts were correct, yet without any vegetables. Location and building quality ensures good sleeping comfort (cool in summer; quiet street).

The hotel service could be more friendly and smiling.
