Location Facilities around the hotel Decent breakfast
staff is the rude. bathroom not in the room and i had to share it with others, even as i had a key
Only good impressions!
close to conference center wifi works fine
quite old hotel and renovation is needed could be any hot dish for breafast
The reception is on the 1st floor but there is a lift so you don't have to struggle up the stairs with heavy bags. Booking in was a doddle and the staff were nice. We had a room overlooking the S Bahn and the motorway beyond which was noisy with the windows open but complete silence when closed. Breakfast was the usual continental fayre but very good and the coffee was a jar of instant so none of that luke warm stuff you normally get. Our room could have done with a spruce up but the bathroom was very nice. Easily found a parking space round the corner and free WiFi... had a great weekend.
I guess the only thing that I would suggest is the bedroom we had could do with a make over.
Cool. I have positive experience.
Location was nice, close to S-Bahn and the Messe Center. Room was small but clean, so was the bathroom. Had a room facing the backyard so it was very quiet at night. Some bars and restaurants nearby, and a small shop across the street. Breakfast was basic but good. Good value for money.
Absent ventilation. Had to open the window during the night. A bit far from the city center, but easy to get to/from Schönefeld Airport.
The price and the location
The noise from the other room
Traffic Noise: either you open the window and have noise, or you close the window and it becomes very stuffy.
- Location - Good stable WLAN connection (free) - Looked clean (but very outdated)
- Very old and outdated. TV for example was from early 90s I guess. - Price very high for offered quality
very good location, very near to central bussstation and u-bahn, room maids are very friendly
i asked the receptionist for tax-refund (as a business traveller i dont have to pay) it he didnt do it. he didnt show up on sunday at 7.30 (opening time for check-out), i had to wait till 7.45, then i gave my keys to somebody else to catch my bus
Polite and helpful Staff
Spacious room (two of us got a room with four beds), free parking, close to metro station (right across the street). WiFi is a bit flaky and slow, but good enough to hold an audio call (Skype, etc.). Towels are changed daily, linen less frequently.
Most of receptionists doesn't speak any English, so you are not likely to get an answer, though that doesn't cause a check-in/check-out problems.
clean bedroom, very good new bathroom, friendly staff
Close to s-bahn Cheap
Very bad bed, badly needs changing, could be cleaner. Parking is in the street, nif you find the spot
Easy access by rail or subway to city. Close to some quite good restaurants. Free parking nearby.
This is not a hotel but a guesthouse or back packers. It's old, untidy and rooms are extremely small. Breakfast was very ordinary and it is so close to the railway and motorway that the noise makes sleeping difficult. Not recommended!
The old-worldly feel of the place. Nothing says "you have arrived at your destination" better than carpeted hallway and staircase + friendly receptionist. Proximity of A100 was worrying, but our room (No. 2) looked toward the courtyard, so there was absolutely no road-noise, even with the window open. Free parking in the area, but be ready to circle a few times before finding a spot. Spacious rooms, friendly & helpful staff, WiFi and good breakfast included in the price. Very nice in-room bathroom. U-bahn station a bit further away than S-bahn, but still reachable in about 5 min. Park with lake (and "mandatory" Biergarten) nearby. Kaiser's store open till midnight just a few blocks down the street.
Hallway inside the hotel is a confusing labyrinth, if you don't get lost there you'll be all right anywhere in Berlin.
evry ting no good
- breakfast - location
- room wasn't ready in time
good staff, polite people,
WAs very noisy, the neighbors was lafing in the hoole night.
nice staff, small but cozy room, excellent breakfast, good location close to transport
noise from the street if the windows are on the side of the autobahn, although if windows are closed, it is ok.
Great location to jump on the subway. Lots of good restaurants close by, plus we found a good laundromat five minutes away. It has a lift.
Creaky floors throughout the building.
