I enjoyed the design and comfort of the Arthotel Ana. The design of the hotel makes you feel welcome and pleases the eye. It also gives you the sensation of new style, as it combines simplicity, fresh colours and elegance. Art is felt througout the hotel. The breakfast is very rich and the breakfast room is spacious and nicely organised.

I didn't stay that long to detect something negative.

The price was reasonable. It was located along our route of travel. Room was clean.

The bathroom was a little small and a little uncomfortable.

The closeness to the fairgrounds, the calm of the neighborhood.

The public areas are attractively designed. Excellent brealfast.

Our stay at the Arthotel Ana was unpleasant and disappointing. There were no staff on duty when we arrived at 1830. I got in as a guest exited but the door then locked itself and I could not get back out to my wife and daughter until another guest used her key to release me. One is expected to telephone for a code which releases a key but no phone is provided. Much money seems to have been spent on the public areas but the bedrooms seem cheaply done and poorly designed – certainly not 4 Star, more like Etap or Formula 1. There is no air-conditioning so we slept very badly because, with the temperature in the mid-thirties, we had to open the window onto a noisy road – and of course there was no one to ask for a fan. The restaurant was closed so, because the hotel itself is in an unattractive suburb with few facilities apart from the graveyard opposite, we had to drive 6km into central Augsburg. When we returned at around 10 pm, we found someone had wedged the front door onto the street wide open – with the reception desk unattended all night we were very concerned about security. Connecting to WiFi was tiresome – requiring a lengthy sign-up procedure to some public hotspot system. There was a lady at reception to check us out in the morning. She accepted payment but made no apology.

Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room with a good breakfast buffet and Internet included, and drinking water available on every floor. The location was out of the city center, but therefore very quiet, and a tram into town was nearby as well as grocery stores and a very good Italian restaurant.

Stylish hotel with comfortable rooms and a good restaurant on site. Well suited to those travelling by car. Friendly staff who could speak English.

The hotel looked great and the facilities were excellent. The hotel staff made the stay more pleasant by looking after all the little details.

This hotel was fabulous! Best stay of our trip. The decor is gorgeous, our room was huge and the staff was extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free bike rentals to go to the World Cup around the corner.

Nice hotel, good price, Good decoration, Good room and very good breakfast.

Small bathing room and Very small shower not fited for big guys like me. No Bidet. I had some dificulty of taking bath with this shower.

Good value for money hotel - loved the complimentry coffee machine in the lobby and very good buffet breakfast. They also offer free bicyles for hotel guests. Recently refurbished rooms which were nice and clean.

The bathrooms although spotless lacked in the overall design feel - felt very much like a bathroom on a cruise ship.

very tiny grubby plastic bathroom. this hotel claims to be a 'design' hotel, but it's clearly an old hotel that has tried to redesign its public spaces with trinkets. The rooms aren't special at all.
