Just about everything. The staff were excellent and friendly, the breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had, our comfortable and spacious room had a marvelous view of the bridge. Bicycles can be put in a secure garage at the front door. The car park is on the other side of Aachener Strasse, although you can with care drive to the front door for unloading (getting out again is a lot more difficult!). Not the hotel's fault, but our Garmin sat-nav came up with a very wrong route to the hotel. In fact it's just downstream of the Römerbrücke bridge, at the western end, with access directly from Aachener Strasse.

Situated on the Mosel across the river from the town but an easier walk to all the sights. Helpful staff, pleasant rooms which would be enhanced by the addition of a kettle etc. very good buffet breakfast, good value with free secure parking across the road.

Proximity to the historic sites around Trier, we walked everywhere we went. Outstanding front desk and dining room service. One of best hotels for the money that we have stayed at, during 3 trips to Europe.

We got a great family apartment at good value for a one night shopping trip It little further out of town than advertised and also you have to walk through a dodgy part of town to get there. Not ideal with the kids in the evening...

It was a very nice stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for seeing Trier. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to change our reservation after the the date of cancellation but the staff made the change for us with no problem. We would stay there again if in the area. The restaurant was fabulous and very reasonable on price. The only problem is no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor. That's just what to expect in old historic German hotels but if someone doesn't have the strength to lug their bags up long stairs you may want to make sure you're on a lower level.

Just off bike path along Mosel. Great breakfast, nice staff. Nice view of Trier. Saturday night is very difficult due to the location. The hotel is next to the main bridge into the city from the east side of the river; the late night bar crowd walking home did not end until just before dawn. Impossible to sleep with the windows open due to the crowd noise!!! Have no idea how that would work in the summer.

We liked the location near the river. It was easy to walk into the city. The breakfast was excellent but dinner not so good though the service was excellent. When we came to leave next morning our car would not start. The staff couldn't have been more helpful They rang the garage and asked for help. As we do not speak German they helped us to communicate with the mechanic and with negotiating a price. They also offered cups of tea several times We were sorry we could not stay at the hotel any longer as Trier was an interesting city, and we would return if ever in the area.

Everyone in the hotel were welcoming and friendly most could speak English or could understand it. Breakfasts were excellent set you up for the day. The evening restaurant had a good selection of meals on offer. A great place to stay and only a 10minute walk into the centre of trier. Rooms were very clean with everything you need.

The breakfast was outstanding and filled us up until the darkness came. The riverview room was very pleasant and very relaxing to watch boats amble along the river. We slept very well and the bed was quite comfortable. I have to rate this hotel very highly, because they had chocolate cake for breakfast. I love chocolate cake.

The staff especially the young receptionists and the waitesses. Nothing wrong with our room except for the fact that it wass a room with absolutely no view. The view being another window less than 3 metres away and a corridor from where passers-by could look right into the room. So ask for a room with a view to the river or to the street.

The friendliness of the staff and the location. The traffic noise. To warm weather to have window shut but traffic too noisy with it open. A fan would make a big difference.

The hotel is very well located and nearby the river Mosel, which gives you a wonderful atmosphere. It is easy to go jogging and walk around. The rooms are nice, quite big, and confortable. You have also parking included on the price. The brekfast is very good, with a variety of options of food. Some staff of the hotel are not nice. Some people are not polite and answer your necessities without giving you the attention you need. The time of the breakfast ist too short during the weekends: only from 08:00 to 10:00 o'clock. The restaurant's food is not special and they do not accept cards.

The location of th ehotel. Near the center only 20 minute walk, near the wine festival. Good parking, good buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The room we got was on the street side not on the river side. It was very noisy. We could not sleep the whole night. We had to open the windows because it was very warm, no air condition. The toilet paper is really the cheap type. Could be softer. You need to ask for the room on the river side.

Extremely friendly and helpful staffs. Rooms are big, clean, bright, comfortable and quiet. Free parking in front of hotel. Magnificant view as hotel just located beside River Mosel. Breakfast buffet is also perfect. My only concern is not being able to rate more than 10 under booking.com system.

The restaurant was excellent and the food produced was extremely high quality, we would recommend eating here. The shower was just an attachment to the bath and was dreadful, the curtains didnt cover the window and the noise from teenagers crossing the bridge to get to the nightclub across the road was relentless.
