Hotel Roter Hahn Garni  

The proximity to the bahnhof and downtown area; excellent breakfast!

HI! we are a young couple and we this was our fist trip to garmisch! The hotel had very friendly staff the had very useful information and the location was awsome!!!

The pool was to cold!!! i was very dissapointed.....

Connection to internet was interrupted usually, even in public area. We lived in a small double room which is for 2 adult persons. The rules of the hotel only said this room can not add beds. No statements say a child accompanied by the parents is prohibited. My son is only 4 years old and it's ok for us living in a small double room. But the hotel said this room only for 2 persons and asked us to pay 7 euros per night for my son's breakfast. For a child of 4 years old, it is not reasonable.

The room was very comfortable, and the food selection for breakfast was very pleasing.

Location - very close to Zugspitze (unfortunately the weather was so bad that we never made that trip); also 2 minute walk to many good restaurants in Garmish. Hotel recommended La Vie across the road, which was excellent. Large modern room. Free WiFi (although no signal in our room).

True to the advertised information, Hotel Roter Haus Garmisch- Partenkirchen was only a few minutes down the road from the train station (where there is also bus station). The hosts, Stephan and Julie made us very welcome and were helpful with tourist information and advice. This is a personally run hotel. Best of all was the great breakfast! What a choice-from fresh breads (even a toaster-not seen in Europe before this hotel) and rolls to fruit, boiled eggs, ham and salmon, cheese and yoghurt, cereals, juices and surprise, surprise homemade cake! All served to guests in an air of conviviality and friendliness. WiFi was weak in our room but the shared lounge had great reception as well as having a tv with dvd player, a small library, comfortable lounge and chairs plus two tables with plenty of seating. Other facilities included an indoor pool with a beautiful wet-edge, a sauna and lounges located in the garden for sunny days which we were fortunate to strike. Hotel Roter Haus was well located to the villages of Garmisch and Partenkirchen where something was always happening and restaurants and shopping areas were in abundance. When next in Garmisch we will definitely choose to stay at the Roter Haus Hotel.

Room was quiet and comfortable, excellent breakfast. Very central location, access to everything was at hand. Hotel had a heated pool. The free transport card for this town very much appreciated.

Прекрасный отель, отличное месторасположение, очень близко от железнодорожного вокзала, автобуса на подъемники, а также пешеходной зоны с множеством ресторанов и магазинов. Уютные стильные номера, отличные завтраки, дружелюбный персонал.

Ruhiges Zimmer, trotz Straßenseite, schöne Rundumsicht V. Balkon auf die Berge.

Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein.

Meget venlige og imødekommende værter, gav et godt overblik over byen da vi ankom. Super beliggendhed.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Auch der kleine Wellnessbereich, Hallenbad, Sauna, Wirlpool, war sehr ansprechend.

Gefallen hat uns die gute Lage,nähe Bahnhof.Das Frühstück war sehr GUT.Service nett und freundlich.Zimmer sauber.Für einen Wochenendtrip genau richtig.

Zimmer sind nicht gerade groß,eher nach der Formel "Quadratisch,Praktisch,Gut".Malertechnisch Renovierungsbedürftig, aber das ist wohl ein ewiges Thema und bestimmt bald in Arbeit.

Mooi proper hotel met vriendelijk personeel.

Het ijskastje op de kamer werkte niet.
