Hotel Roter Hahn Garni  

The pool, sauna were nice, the breakfast excellent, the location 300m from the station and maybe 500m from central station. But most of all the canadian woman on reception (frickin a), just a good freindly relaxed attitude in this hotel.

My room was ok, but nothing special for a 3 star german hotel, but the staff more than made up for that!!!

The stuff was excellent and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Very good location, close to the train station and to the city center as well.

Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Great breakfasts and 5 min walk from the cafes and shops. Pool and sauna area also great for a 3 star - excellent value and convenience for a ski trip

The hotel hosts are most gracious, helpful and friendly. Julia speaks English, being born in Toronto and married to a German, who also speaks English. They helped with making restaurant reservations and calling a Taxi, too. Their parking lot is large and located just outside the door and is off the street. The hotel is very close to the train station, making a day trip to Munich very easy.

This hotel, like most in Germany, is not air-conditioned. The windows in the breakfast room do not open, so it was important to eat quickly, since there was no moving air and it was hot. The construction close around the hotel was not pleasant, but not the fault of the hotel. Being on a busy street, it was noisy since we had to have the windows open all night to get a breeze. Finding the hotel was difficult, since the streets in Garmish are confusing and packed with buildings. Construction was everywhere in the city.

location excellent with regard to Pedestrian area in Garmisch. Also excellent for central train station.Also only a 10 min walk to to train for Zugspitze. Quality hotel.

Renovations going on next door to hotel, but in room 17 that had no effect at all regarding sleep !!

Staff friendly

The owners Stephan or Julie greet you upon arrival. Both are very nice and helpful with information. We had a nice room with large bath by Europe standards. They offer various types of rooms, so inquire. There is a nice common area to relax after a busy day. The breakfast offerings are fabulous! Variety of fresh breads and cheese, I would try a different one each day! Eggs, yougurt, cereal, fruit, a variety of cured meats. Tea or coffee, the best coffee ever! So close to everything, train station, shopping and downtown for dinner, walk everywhere. Many wonderful places to hike around Garmisch. This place has a pool and sauna! Great after a day of activity. I would highly recommend Roter Hahn.

Отель очень уютный. Персонала приветливый. Оформление заняло пару минут, сразу мужчина на ресепшене рассказал, где лучше всего и недорого можно поужинать. В названном им ресторане провели все вечера недели, столик бронировали заранее сразу на несколько дней, т.к. ресторан действительно супер и народу валом. Убирают хорошо, ежедневно. Вай-фай предоставляется бесплатно, но после регистрации через e-mail. Очень хороша сауна и бассейн после горнолыжного катания, расслабляют. Завтрак хороший, всё есть.

Рядом с отелем идет строительство, но не мешает ничем, кроме вида.

Super Frühstück, wird immer wieder aufgefüllt und es ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei; Top Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof, Skibus und Innenstadt; Sauna recht klein, aber mit dem Pool ein schöner Wellnessbeeich, in dem man nach dem Skifahren noch kurz relaxen kann; Zimmer sehr sauber

хорошие номера, с новой мебелью, ванная с окном, очень просторная. Хороший завтрак, на твердую четверку. своя парковка, бесплатная. Сауна с бассейном, небольшой милый дворик. Отель расположен в Гармише, рядом вокзал, магазины, туринфо, городской парк. В Патеркирхене более старинные здания и больше выбор ресторанов для ужина.

отель управляется семьей. К сожалению, при заселении мы попали на пожилую фрау. Перед нами она принимала немцев, долго им расссказывала, провела в номер. Нам просто выдала ключи и тут же потребовала карту и сняла деньги за проживание! такое впервые у нас случилось, чтобы оплачивали до выписки из отеля. на вопрос где можно купить питание для ребенка, сказала что все уже закрыто. И чайника у нее нет. горячего молока тем более нет. Через час мы вышли из номера и за углом обнаружили магазин Muller с хорошим выбором дет питания, а через улицу еще два универсама. все работало. в номере плохо работает интернет. Пожилая фрау опять же на наши вопросы говорила, что все должно работать и валите мол. Другие помогали настроить и объснили, что в номере принимает сигнал плохо, на общественной территории нет проблем. Можно было, например, на втором этаже в гостинной спокойно сидеть в одиночестве. Другие члены семьи были к нам дружелюбны. А отношение этой пожилой фрау портило настроение.

Das Roter Hahn Garni ist ein kleines gemütliches Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und entsprechen den Fotos. Unser "Waxenstein"-Zimmer auf der Straßenseite hatte zusätzlich noch einen kleinen Balkon. Das Hotel verfügt über ca. 15 private Parkplätze in einem kleinen Innenhof. Die Anreise nach 20.00Uhr war kein Problem! Nach einem kurzen Telefonat um 19.15Uhr, dass es nicht mehr rechtzeitig klappen wird, wurde die verspätete Anreise möglich gemacht. Im liebevoll dekorierten Frühstücksraum gab es ein sehr gutes, ausgewogenes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Der hoteleigene Innenpool, sowie die kleine Sauna laden zum entspannen ein. Große Badetücher bekommt man kostenfrei an der Rezeption. Als Hotelgast bekommt man eine "Kurkarte", diese ermöglicht u.a. die freie Fahrt mit den Ortsbussen, sowie 1x freien Eintritt (für einen ganzen Tag) ins Alpspitz-Wellenbad (direkt am Olympia-Eisstadion) Fussweg vom Hotel ca. 10min. Ebenso gibt es noch weitere Ermässigungen.

Leider ist die Benutzung des Innenpools nur während der Rezeptionszeiten möglich (7-20 Uhr).

Mittelmäßiges Frühstück, Hotel allgemein alt u abgewohnt

La posizione assai strategica a cento metri dal centro storico, ma facile da raggiungere in auto. Parcheggio nel cortile interno dell'hotel. Ottima colazione, servita in una graziosissima saletta e che contemplava anche qualche dolce- raro per la Germania-

Avevamo richiesto una camera silenziosa. All'arrivo invece, accolti da una signora che non parlava neanche inglese -peraltro assai poco gentile- , ci è stata assegnata una camera al primo piano e che dava sulla strada principale, trafficata. Al camera era piccola e anche un po' maleodorante. Alla nostra richiesta di sostituzione ci è stato detto che per avere una camera sul cortile avremmo dovuto pagare un supplemento per una camera di tipo superiore, che in effetti era un po' più grande. La camera era comunque niente di che, arredata in modo un po' misero - niente a che vedere con le camere graziose e curate tipiche di alberghi di questo tipo in Germania..- Bagno piccolissimo e da ristrutturare. Inoltre all'arrivo ci è stata chiesta la carta di credito dicendoci che era per l'autorizzazione, ed invece ci è stato immediatamente addebitato l'importo dell'intero soggiorno... Perché non dirci semplicemente che desideravano il pagamento anticipato? Inoltre non abbiamo avuto la ricevuta se non alla partenza, e solo dietro esplicita richiesta. Il padrone in seguito si è rivelato più gentile, ma comunque non ci torneremo...

Das Zimmer liegt direkt an einer viel befahrenen Einkaufsstraße. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal,gutes Frühstück , gemütliche Einrichtung .

удобное местоположение, рядом с вокзалом и автовокзалом. при заселении выдали карту гостя, дающую право на бесплатный проезд в общественном транспорте и скидки в музеи. хороший завтрак, шведский стол. персонал дружелюбный и всегда готов помочь. отель очень уютный, оформлен в деревенском стиле.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut.

Wir hatten zwar das "kleine" Zimmer gebucht, doch 16qm inkl. Bad mit einem 1,90x1,60 Bett war schon sehr klein.
