Quietness and value for money
There was a mini supermarket right next door, perfect for water and treats like crsips and sweets. The room was warm. The hotel is within walking distance from main train station (down a very busy street especially if you have a suitcase).
I did not like that the shower had a curtain and not a showerdoor, and the room had no kettle most disappointing in winter, and the tea that is served in the lobby is only available from 12pm - 6pm during that time everybody is out sightseeing, this I thought was incredibly senseless.
It was all i needed. Good location, nice and clean room, good price.
Nothing in perticular.
Very good Hotel. My room was small, but has everything what you need. Really clean (bath room too), fresh and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. WiFi for 2 Euro per day. In case you need to spend few nights (not to leave) - very good solution. The hotel placed near the main Railway station less then 4 minutes walking, less then 10-15 minutes to the city.
The hotel placed near the main Railway station less then 4 minutes, but there are many gabling and similar shops. Just for information.
The hotel is very close to the Central Train station and has a good value for money. 5 mins walking distance to karlsplatz and a maximum 15 mins walking distance to the famous marianplatz. Additionally It's clean at least average and staff is really friendly and helpful
The single room is really small.
Room was clean.
Need to pay for wifi. Hallways smelled a bit weird.
Very close to city Easy to travel around
I got the room 401 and no internet can acees
convenient central location
charging for wi-fi looked very cheap even though it was 2 EUR per day.
Good breakfast and location. Staff were nice
Lying in the bed was like lying in hammock. There was little to no support.
Good location.About 5 mins from Munich hbf.
Wifi is not for free and even I pay it, I can't connect it in most of time in my room!!It got very strong signal in reception but not in room!
Cold room There were no towels when we came Staff just does not care at all
Room is nice, clean and comfortable sized (small but cosy), good location (5 mins walk from central train station, 10/15 mins walk into city centre), staffs were friendly and helpful
Thin walls mean it could get quite noisy at night and in the early hours (depending on your neighbours' plan for the day/night), although hotel is close to central train station (and surrounded by many other hotels), the hotel is surrounded by various adults shops, gambling houses and others...
breakfast! fast internet connection! Excellent service!
The location was great for us - only 15 min walk to everything you want to see and great Turkish/Lebanese restaurants nearby. The room was quite small but fine for a short stay. Bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice and helpful.
The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - heard people leaving early each morning. Not too much of a problem for us but definitely woke me both days.
Location, staff performance (reception and overall), breakfast.
Probably a lillle bit noizy outdoors, Turkish people were talking in the street all night. But all in all after walking around all day it didn't matter :)
The whole process and reservation was straight forward. The room was clean and ok.
- WiFi is paid - Noise from the street - Cigarette smoke from the street (people standing underneath of windows) - very small rooms - no fridge in the room
It is good for location and value
Breakfast has little vatiety although price is very reasonable
They have a nearby parking space for 10 euro/day. Breakfast is really good. They even have Hot White sausages!
You have to pay for Wifi and breakfast, although the price is not high. ( Wifi 2 Euro/24hours; breakfast 6.5 Euro) Hotel in a little rundown area; but a lot of hotel in that area
Central & good price
The hotel is old and internet is very slow. The only good thing is close to the train stations.
The Receptionist named "Rene Ruther" (perhaps the spell of the family name is not right, i cannot remember clearly) was very impolite and unfriendly in the morning on 13.09.2014. Oh no, not impolite. I think i can only use "rude" to describe him. On 12.09.2014 it was already 23:30 when my boyfriend and I arrived in this Hotel. Both of us were very tired because of the long journey by bus and tomorrow afternoon we need to catch the plane. So I asked the personnel (not Rene Ruther) in the reception if we could stay til 12:00 on 13.09.2014 to check-out. And he said “yes, it’s OK and I will take a note to tell the receptionist, who is tomorrow on duty, that you can check out at 12:00”. But on 13.09.2014 we got a phone call from the reception at about 11:15, the man (Rene Ruther) said we must check out. I explained to him that yesterday his colleague promised that we could check out at 12:00. But he interrupted my explanation very roughly and requested us to check out immediately. So we came to the reception with our luggage to check out as soon as possible (at about 11:25). He was very very impolite and unfriendly. Und he requested an extra payment of 30 Euro for the late check-out, plus the room charge of 79 Euro, 109 Euro in total. It was very unreasonable. We explained a lot to argue and we wanted to see the original check-in paper (because receptionist yesterday took a note on that paper about our late checkout). Rene Ruther said no and asked us to pay 109 Euro, otherwise he said he would call the police. We were not afraid of the police at all, because we didn’t do anything wrong. But the problem was that we didn’t have enough time to contact with the police because we had to catch the plane! So we paid 109 Euro and decided to complain about Rene Ruther to the manager later. As we were leaving, another guest came to check out and refused to pay the extra 30 Euro.
Close to good Westbahnhof
Area not good No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast too expensive for us to use. Extractor fans far too loud
Convenient for central station. Walking distance from city centre. Reasonable price. Good breakfast.
Would have been nice to have coffee making facility in room. They offer coffee in the lobby but only for limited hours in afternoon.
good location close to central station easy access for trains trams buses & underground and Luftansa airport bus good breakfast spread in nice top floor room friendly reception staff where free tea & coffee are available
noisey street corner especially early morning but maybe not so bad if on upper floor ? noise of other guests using toilet at night - you can hear the flush & fan from above & adjacent rooms
