Location, staff performance (reception and overall), breakfast.
Probably a lillle bit noizy outdoors, Turkish people were talking in the street all night. But all in all after walking around all day it didn't matter :)
The whole process and reservation was straight forward. The room was clean and ok.
- WiFi is paid - Noise from the street - Cigarette smoke from the street (people standing underneath of windows) - very small rooms - no fridge in the room
It is good for location and value
Breakfast has little vatiety although price is very reasonable
They have a nearby parking space for 10 euro/day. Breakfast is really good. They even have Hot White sausages!
You have to pay for Wifi and breakfast, although the price is not high. ( Wifi 2 Euro/24hours; breakfast 6.5 Euro) Hotel in a little rundown area; but a lot of hotel in that area
Central & good price
The hotel is old and internet is very slow. The only good thing is close to the train stations.
The Receptionist named "Rene Ruther" (perhaps the spell of the family name is not right, i cannot remember clearly) was very impolite and unfriendly in the morning on 13.09.2014. Oh no, not impolite. I think i can only use "rude" to describe him. On 12.09.2014 it was already 23:30 when my boyfriend and I arrived in this Hotel. Both of us were very tired because of the long journey by bus and tomorrow afternoon we need to catch the plane. So I asked the personnel (not Rene Ruther) in the reception if we could stay til 12:00 on 13.09.2014 to check-out. And he said “yes, it’s OK and I will take a note to tell the receptionist, who is tomorrow on duty, that you can check out at 12:00”. But on 13.09.2014 we got a phone call from the reception at about 11:15, the man (Rene Ruther) said we must check out. I explained to him that yesterday his colleague promised that we could check out at 12:00. But he interrupted my explanation very roughly and requested us to check out immediately. So we came to the reception with our luggage to check out as soon as possible (at about 11:25). He was very very impolite and unfriendly. Und he requested an extra payment of 30 Euro for the late check-out, plus the room charge of 79 Euro, 109 Euro in total. It was very unreasonable. We explained a lot to argue and we wanted to see the original check-in paper (because receptionist yesterday took a note on that paper about our late checkout). Rene Ruther said no and asked us to pay 109 Euro, otherwise he said he would call the police. We were not afraid of the police at all, because we didn’t do anything wrong. But the problem was that we didn’t have enough time to contact with the police because we had to catch the plane! So we paid 109 Euro and decided to complain about Rene Ruther to the manager later. As we were leaving, another guest came to check out and refused to pay the extra 30 Euro.
Close to good Westbahnhof
Area not good No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast too expensive for us to use. Extractor fans far too loud
Convenient for central station. Walking distance from city centre. Reasonable price. Good breakfast.
Would have been nice to have coffee making facility in room. They offer coffee in the lobby but only for limited hours in afternoon.
good location close to central station easy access for trains trams buses & underground and Luftansa airport bus good breakfast spread in nice top floor room friendly reception staff where free tea & coffee are available
noisey street corner especially early morning but maybe not so bad if on upper floor ? noise of other guests using toilet at night - you can hear the flush & fan from above & adjacent rooms
Location was close to central station which was very convenient!
The street was very loud during the day/ night (mostly due to a fruit vendor)
the only good thing about this hotel was the location
extremely rude and unhelpful staff. we will not return to this hotel and do not recommend it either
Staff are very nice
Room is not sound proof thus can hear noise closing from other rooms
good location, very near the train station and at walkable distance from the city center and all the major attractions.
no breakfast included, no free Wi-Fi
I liked the location and the simplicity. Everything you need is there and the staff are awesome.
The street noise can be bothersome.
Good location, close to central station and city center attractions
Staff was not the nicest I have met, thin walls = in the next room a couple made love and the sound when straight through the wall.
Staff in the breakfast area, she was very nice and welcoming.
Everything else was very poor. There was no soap in the bathroom, nobody helped me to get the ironing board upstairs, problems with the phone, etc, etc,...
Nice view to main street, good location, good price.
Good location - not far from the station and the old centre. Nice room. Good breakfast.
Everything was fine.
clean room, easy access to city centre on foot
noisy bedroom from road that was busy all night
convienently located next to main station. friendly staff.
rooms are really small, especially the bathroom
The location is three blocks from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) in Munich. The hotel stores luggage at the end of a stay and if the room is ready, the hotel will let you into the room early. The basics are included for breakfast, and there is a varying selection of three hot dishes each morning. One staff member even googled directions to an unusual destination for me.
The carpet in Room 301 was stained.
Location is convenient to solo travellers; close to the main station.
Families might want larger rooms and a more family-friendly location. Wifi was very cheap, usuable for casual browsing, but quite slow if you need to connect for work.
