Hotel Sonne

It was almost perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable. Reasonable size. Bathroom was large with tub. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Thumbs up!

Of my five day, four city stay in Germany, this was by far the best hotel. Room was modern with excellent bathroom layout including a separate tub and walk-in shower. The outdoor window shades were controlled via a wall switch which allowed for complete darkness in daytime. An HD LCD TV and very comfortable bedding completed the room. The front receptionist was friendly and helpful and seemed like she actually cared about the guests. Location was prime within the town center and a short drive to the Castles. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Be advised though that during winter, the underground reserved parking is well worth the extra money. Overall, I wish more hotels were like this one.

Convenient parking, located right in the city centre. Short drive to Neuschwanstein Castle. Very nice breakfast buffet. Staff very helpful, happy to answer questions. Stayed there with an 18 month old child and hotel was very accommodating to this.

The standard of the room was excellent and staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The buffet beakfast was of extremely high quality, and the sauna area was great at the end of a day visiting the nearby castles and mountains!

No kettle or tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.

This is a centrally situated hotel in Fussen. Hotel is easy to find although the entrance to the car park is a little tricky to find as the Hotel Sonne is situated at a pedestrianlised zone. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable but I found the bed too soft for my liking. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice hotel, comfortable, very clean and very well situated in the centre of Füssen. Near (2 or 3 minutes) the train station and the bus stop to get to the castles. Superior buffet breakfast, included in the price of the room.

The hotel was very central. The staff were very pleasant, and eager to please. If a member of staff did not speak good English or understand your request, they were quick to get someone else to help with your query. Bar staff were very welcoming, and rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Overall a very welcoming experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family travelling to the region.

The location was wonderful. Only 2 blocks from the train and bus to Castles. In town and close to shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed right away. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with a huge variety of hot and cold foods. They also have free clothes washer and dryer, which I appreciated very much.

I loved every minute of my stay. No down side.

The Hotel Sonne is an excellent hotel suitable for all manner of occassions. I highly recommend it and its location to anybody wishing to stay in Fussen. The undercover, reserved parking facility was also excellent and well worth the very modest extra charge. All in all, this is the best hotel I have stayed with in Germany.
