Hotel Splendid Dollmann  

The hotel location was great, the room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The staff and breakfast were just wonderful. Excellent!

The hotel is very clean, calm, cosy and nicely decorated. The breakfast facilities are quiet and offer a nice choice of fruit and other fresh ingredients. Last but not least, the receptionists are very kind and helpful. This makes the stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

There is nothing I can think of that I did not like.

A very nice hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Appealing small lounge downstairs furnished with books. Good breakfast. Good WiFi.

Somewhat cramped room.

Right by the metro station, 1 minute walk from Maximillian strasse. Quiet, cosy, very friendly, convenient. Considering overall hotels price level - fair value for money.

Liked the service. Everyone at the front desk was great as was the server in the breakfast room. Liked the comforters on the bed.

Didn't like how much was charged for phone calls. Our luggage was lost by the airlines and we had no cell phone chargers so we had to use the room phone to contact the airlines. We were charged about $70 for calls over 4 days.

The location of the hotel is really great. In ten minutes walk you are in the city center. The breakfast was excellent, very rich and the cutlery is silver - very nice to use. Rooms are stylish, the bathroom is extremely clean and has everything for your comfort.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Convenient location within walking distance to the many attractions and historical city center, U-bahn and tram stop right outside the hotel, so you can easy reach anywhere. Situated in historical building, quite and relax atmosphere, cozy common spaces like library, hotel's privat garden terrace. Rooms are tastefully furnished, even though everything seems to be vintage, and very clean. Some rooms have small but very green terraces, faced to the yard, you could ask about when booking. I'm not hesitate to suggest this place other turists.

Rooms are not so spacious, tiny bathrooms, lift starts higher then hotel entrance. Only 30 min free Internet per day- ridiculous thing for 2012 , breakfast not included in room rate, although, room price is not so low.

Notwithstanding the relatively cool weather, the room was a bit stuffy at times. A little AC would help.

I felt very welcomed and the staff couldn't do enough for me,they made me feel relaxed and comfortable, it was like being in a warm and cosy second home. As a single traveler that is very important. A real refuge from the bustle of the city. I will stay there again next time I go to Munich in the Autumn.

Its a shame that breakfast wasn't included in the price.

Great building design off the main street but close enough to rail everywhere. Next to a great little park and fantastic restaurants and bars.

Rooms were a bit small and the staff seemed a bit too or ruffled to help with city directions, maps, etc.

We stayed for one night at the Splendid Dollman. It is a smaller hotel, reasonably priced hotel near the Hoffbraug house. The area was quiet and a few steps off of the beaten path. When we entered the room we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and quaint the room was. It didn't stop there, later,after we visited the Hoffbraug house,we took a shower. It had to be the best shower I have ever taken outside of my home. I would highly recommend this place based on the shower alone, however, the entire place was superb.

Beautifully furnished rooms, very clean and comfortable, at 10min. Walk from Marienplatz (city center). We did not have breakfast (a bit too expensive at 15 euro/person), but we enjoyed a cappuccino in the hotel's lobby, in a very welcoming atmosphere. Staying at the hotel during the weekend, we found a free parking space just in front of the hotel.

Close to Munich and nice staff. Had parking in station.

Very tiny rooms no breakfast included. We had to take this due to soccor in munich another hotel would be better value.

The hotel is centrally located. All the main attraction of the city can be reached easily on foot from the hotel. Parking is both available on the street or in private garage. Staff at this hotel are really nice, warm and welcoming. The hotel is housed in a very attractive building and it is furnished beautifully. I would recommend this hotel.

No tea or coffee facility in the room. No free Wi-Fi. Far end rooms are smaller, have only one window and are Queen size not double. I would still recommend this hotel.
