This basic hotel is set directly on Hamburgs Reeperbahn boulevard with its famous nightlife venues, just a 10 minute walk from the port, Speicherstadt warehouse city, and several musical theaters. The A&O Hamburg Reeperbahn (formerly known as Hotel Stern) offers functional and modern rooms. Some rooms feature private bathrooms, others have shared facilities in the hallway. The hotel and hostel offers 24-hour reception, with friendly staff, happy to give you advice. Before heading out for a night out on the famous Reeperbahn, stop for a drink in the A&O bar. The A&O Hamburg is located less than half a mile from the port of Hamburg and close to the fish market. Most of Hamburgs attractions are within easy walking distance and the excellent public transportation connections will help you to reach any point of interest within minutes. Very noisy surroundings. The room was not much clean and some room's equipment was broken or damaged. Only one light was working in the room. No hot water in shower.

They provide friendly service, were helpful with directions, even knocked the price down for our room. And it was always warm which was helpful because hamburg is freezing. A 24 hour bar also kept my friend happy

Price is good. There was quiet despite of the noisy street. Expected parking was full, so we had no possibility to park there, and had to go to the public paid undergroung parking (13,50 euro) in 10 minutes walking time.

This hotel is in a very convenient location for pubs, clubs, sightseeing etc. The S-Bahn which brings you directly from the airport (approx 30 mimute journey for 2.80 Euros) is approx 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Great price for an en suite twin room & the shower was excellent. The rooms are basic but what do you expect for the price. It was also clean & tidy. The reception staff were friendly & spoke English.I Emailed the hotel on a coule of occasions & received prompt, friendly & helpful replies. I would definately use a&o again.

Great location for a stag trip - near all the nightlife. Rooms are basic but kept extremely clean, clean laundry, towels and shower every day. Wouldn't recommend for couples looking for some peace & quiet

La situació prop la parada del S-bahn. Bona situació si el que es vol és sortir de festa ja que està en una zona molt animada, i tot i això no es sentia soroll. L'habitació estava inclinada, tenia forats i esquerdes. El llit no era gaire comode. L'hotel està situatuat darrere d'un sex-shop en el mateix red light district. Potser més indicat per a grups de joves amb ganes de festa. Més que un hotel és un hostal.

Das wohl freundlichste Personal das ich je kennengelert habe. Ob Rezeption oder sonst sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer in dem ich untergebracht war könnte einnal renoviert werden insbesondere das Bad.
