Convenient location near central station interior of hotel new looking and clean

Room extremely small location (although convenient near central station) very near apparent red light district with unsavory characters on streets and noise until late at light

I had my reservations after booking the room but found my experience to be quite nice. The hotel is in a decent location, the room was clean and nicely decorated. Past reviews mention the hotel being close to the red light district. This area is on the side streets on the opposite side of the main street where the hotel is located. I am not sure why others were so concerned. I could not think of any reason you would need to walk in the direction of that area. The city and other sites are in the opposite direction. Do not let any reviews regarding proximity to the red light district cause you not to stay here.

Helpful, friendly staff, nice decor, good breakfast, clean room, convenient location close to the Hauptbahnhof but away from the unpleasant red-light district

I refuse to pay extra for wireless internet (free in the lobby, but if you want it in your room you have to pay) - especially as room prices were trebled for the annual Book Fair

It is ok but bad location with noise in the night , breakfast is poor

It was not my first at the hotel, actually it is my 4th time there and I have always felt like being at home. Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, and excellent breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

This hotel was right in the city, room was very spacious and clean. the reception staff was very helpful, breakfast was lovely..

Everything was good, the staff are excellent specially the guy from Cuba, he was very helpful. The beakfast was fine and big rooms with all facilities. The location is amazing right by the tram and the subway. Shops and restaurants are very close.

Sex shops near by made it a little noisy at night specially during the weekend

The location is central. It is clean and the staff are great.

Room was small and at the back of the hotel. Two twin beds instead of one double bed.

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel looked like, actually better, then in the pictures. Rooms very well designed and had a cool design. Staff was exceptionally friendly and the included breakfast Buffett was plentiful. It's walking distance from the train station.

The shower water temperature wasn't consistent so we had to continually adjust it. Plus the calking along the stall was coming apart and there was about half an inch gap. Not a big deal. It should/would not affect my decision to stay at hotel Victoria.

Free upgrade to a bigger room and the breakfast buffet is fine.

The hotel is only 3-star standard. The furnitures are a bit old in condition, yet they are clean. The room is not spacious. The staff are not so kind.

Very expensive internet access and a complicated system to get online. The rooms are small. The smell of smoke was entering my open window.
