    Very good location; nice staff and lobby, very good breakfast, though pricey.

    For an old grand hotel - it lacks character; low ceilings, noise from the room above; bedding very uncomfortable. To keep room cool - AC quite noisy.

    Location and hotel ambience.

    Slow service and arrogant staff who were unable to effectively deal with electricity faults in our three rooms. The move to alternative rooms at 10:30pm on a Saturday night was unhelpful.

    Location Clean bright rooms Good air-conditioner Stylish design of the Lobby and the Reception area.

    A bit overpriced - a filter coffee costs 9 Eur in the Lobby Bar. No tea/coffee making amenities in the room - a bit disappointing for a hotel of this class. The pool is too small for such a big hotel (when three people are swimming at the same time it feels overcrowded already).

    Great location. Great staff Great suite Fabulous bar

    Electronic controls for lighting and other electrical functions too complicated and obtuse. Would it kill them to provide at least one U.S. electrical outlet.

    Excellent room in luxurious hotel, very good dinner etc.

    During the check-out we had plenty of mistakes in our invoice. We spent about an hour on discussing them. We had laundry and clothes repair for 200 EUR. We informed the front desk because we didn't use tis service. Staff gave us documents providing our use of laundry. We still denied of using laundry services. Manager of the reception came... She called a staff who worked in laundry to identify us. She clearly proved our use of a laundry and even said about herself, bringing the clothes to our room. We stood near the reception, confused of deception of this women. We asked which type of jacket exactly was it. She answered that it was BAVARIAN JACKET, that we did not even have. We allowed a staff to open our luggages and look for Bavarian jacket, so that we can prove our uselessness of a laundry because we didn't have and never had Bavarian jacket. They did not follow our allowance and took it off our invoice, but still thinking that we were deceiving. Than we asked the staff on the reception who was discussing our invoice with us to change 500 EUR. She went somewhere... When she came back (in half a minute), she told us about impossibility of changing the money to smaller banknotes. This was incredible, it is a 5* hotel and there are such a huge swindles and after they are not excusing to us, but being completely disrespectful, rude and boorish. How boorish can the staff of the hotel, if they are deceiving right in front of you and with boorish face, not saying goodbye giving us back 500 EUR unchanged in 5* hotel. I can even come to bar in the hotel, drink an orange juice and give 500 EUR, and I don't care. I am a client in 5* hotel, so they must find a way to change a money for me!!!

    The service was great from a superb front-desk staff, and the location and overall presentation/decor were real positives.

    My room was quite small, though very well-kept by service staff. The cost for breakfast was unusually high, even for a hotel of this stature.

    great hotel. exceptional front desk staff, very polite room service - last trip here i was exasperated by the inability of staff to take an order properly over phone, but once I mastered the Ipad ordering this time, everything arrived perfectly. perfect location in Munich, possibly the best of any hotel in the city, and a great gym and sauna with a view on the rooftops.

    loved the location, service and ambiance, specially the renovated rooms. They have iPads in all rooms for room service and all other controls. the shower was digital. And rooms, hallways and public areas all smelled nice, except for one day when our hallway smelled like curry and biryani.

    We wished the rooms were a bit bigger and they had the electrical issues resolved. With everything electronic, which we loved, all lights in the room would turn off after few hours of turning them on. It was very annoying and inconvenient, specially since the "do not disturb" sign would turn off as well. Also while windows are well insulated, the walls are not so much and we could hear noises from the next rooms.

    As I had stayed in November in a double standard room which had been renovated I liked the decoration much more. I found that the lay-out of the bathroom of the suite was not confortable and practical. I was surprised not to see a welcome note from the manager although I had mtnioned that I was a repeat guest.

    In fact l liked everything about the hotel.I like Germany and Munich in particular and the hotel made my satisfaction complete.From now on it will always be my address in Munich
