Hotel Zeil  

excellent location, 2 mins walking to shopping area and subway. 3 stages to Frankfurt main transtation, 5 stages to Messe Frankfurt. Great for business and shopping, city trip. Free wifi in lobby and room, but not the restaurant. Heater is very powerful also has one in the bath room. The blond lady and a young man staffs are very nice and helpful. Also lots people saying about breakfast not good. I think for $6/per is fair enough. Bread, Frankfurt sausage, cheese, ham, egg, fruit, also tea, coffee and juice.

Hotel was too old, life can't close and has to wait for very long time. Toilet was bad. Not clean and very dark. Leaking middle of the night was very scary. The bath room jam but no one come to fix, not even changed towels. The old man doesn't really understand English. The middle age man was the worst staff there!! Doesn't matter what you asking he just said " I don't know". Not helping and not even listening.

There was one a terrible man in staff. He recited all what people were eating and drinking

I didnt like anything at hotel zeil. The bathroom is so small, the furniture are made before 50 year or much more . The price that I paid was not worth it at all. The Tv is so small and the rooms were not cleaned at all. Even if I get money from this hotel I wont go there. Hotel zeil sucks

Sauna was only available in the afternoons and sadly not in the morning. The breakfast rate is to high.

Great hotel, walking distance to downtown area. Free parking, great breakfast, free mini bar, fantastic staff. Large rooms. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was very small, carpets were dirty, a lot of noise.

I liked hotel zeil because the price was right for it's location to the airport. I had an early morning flight that I wanted to stay locally so I could make my flight. I also appreciated the desk clerk calling me without a requests because I didn't hear my alarm and he remembered the hour I told him I would be checking out. Otherwise, I would've missed my flight.

The room smelled a little musty but it appeared clean. The place served it's function as a low priced place to rest my head for a night.

-- lift size is for one person -- room furniture is very poor -- room size is very small and we were obliged to take another room which cost us 150 euro more -- bath room was very dirty and water leakage was there and nobody listen for our Complain -- breakfast is very poor

Breakfast

The staff was very unhappy to have to honor our reservation at the the rate quoted online. They made it clear that if we were to book a room for the weekend we were to fly home the rate would be 300 Euros as apposed to the 70 Euros quoted on line and what we paid. They spoke in Russian and were more interested in talking among themselves rather than the guests standing in front of them. Needless to say we would not stay there again.

I have to admit that there is nothing to like about this hotel. Breakfast was absolute desaster- THE PLACE AND THE FOOD.
