Nice, clean hotel. Good B'fast. Good location We asked for early check in - waited an hour. Asked for hi floor w/a view - got 2nd fl - no view. Asked to look for a different room - never got back to us. No internet in rooms. Wireless intrnet @ loby costs money... |

Satisfying and practical. It is good for the price, howerever, I think that it is not in the same class as its advertised "stars rating". The location of the hotel is very good to access shopping areas, and it has excellent connection to public transportation (bus stop is only 50 meters away and underground is about 150 meters away). It does not have climate control in the room, and the room only meets the basic needs. This hotel should not be classified as "budget and practical" and not luxury or comforting. Wireless is not free but only available in the lobby (very weak else where). |

hotel has excellent location, directly on main shopping boulevard kurfuerstendamm. Rooms are reasonably quiet, good hotel parking lot in the back of the hotel. room furnishings and bathroom slightly oldfashioned. |

The hotel location is great for sightseeing and shopping in Berlin. Internet should be provided in the rooms, the bar staff has to be tought how to serve drinks, carpet in the room should be cleaned or replaced. |

The size of the room, the buffet breakfast and the proximity to the train station and shops. The room alllocated was on the side where the train lines were passing (appr. 100 metres away) and the trains were passing every 2-3 minutes making our stay a bid unpleasant. |

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and the fact that they could speak English. They were willing to help, explanation of how to get sight seeing bus, calling the taxi etc. I think it needs a little bit of renovation, the floor! and the bathroom(shower in particular, the curtain!) |

the hotel is in the main street,near a main tube statio so it was eazy 2 travell all over berlin.the staff was all the time ready 2 help in any question.the room was always clean.breakfest was great !!! |

The location is very convenient for Berlin buses, U & S Bahns and within easy walking distance of the centre of Berlin. The staff were helpful, the room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast (included in our price) was generous and of excellent quality. We could not understand why the name has changed from Hotel am Zoo. We would have liked more information on the history of the hotel. |

I stay here because the location suits my needs perfectly. The location is right because my friends live in this neighbourhood and the shops and restaurants I like are in walking distance. The lack of toiletries, washcloths and even shower caps was disappointing. Otherwise, the bathroom was the nicest I have had in my many stays at this hotel. The cleaning staff frequently congregated and chatted noisily in the corridor |

The location is excellent and the staff are very nice. Breakfast was excellent. We had 2 rooms, one of them (single room) was in desperate need of renovation and the other was very very warm (in April). Internet was only available in reception. |

It was convenient to shopping and eating. Bacon and eggs on breahfast bar were burned or over done. There were also many other items to enjoy such as fruits, cheeses, breads so I didn't go hungry. |
