Close to attractions and transport, great room.

location, walking distance to the main station, as a tourist I recommend the Hop on / off bus, this hotel is right at the start and finish of the tour, 5 steps out the main door.

The ONLY area in the entire Hotel to receive a slow and weak signal to WiFi, is on the 1st floor, in a "so called" lounge. So if you want to use the internet with WiFi, forget it.....big weak point. (but it was free) The rooms are very big, but make noise when you walk, as the thin carpet is on a wooden hollow floor. The tiny tv in the room is just not justified for a big room. The staff set up Breakfast and walk thru the inner yard with trolleys which make so much noise, that we got woken up every day but that, and we were on the 4th floor.... The breakfast room needs some decoration and warmth

the location was perfect, right next to metro station, bus stop and city tour stop. The room was clean and sound proof. It offered free wifi at the lobby.

The hotel did not have a restaurant or coffee shop, just for breakfast (which I did not purchase). It has not been remodeled and is pretty old. Towels were clean, but seemed like it had seen better days.

It was cosy and its location excellent

I like the location. And the comfort of the hotel plus the staff were friendly

GREAT pictures. Some of the best art/photographs in hotel public spaces I have ever seen. Original prints from past eras by someone who really knows how to take interesting pictures. Otherwise I liked it as a straightforward hotel, no frills but just what I needed.

Nothing, I even liked listening to the trains.

the location..in front of kudamm ubahn...it was easy to get around

everything else...but for the offer i ought not to be complaining...but still it was substandard by all standards...i cant beleve such hotels exist in deutschland.

Excellent location, rich breakfast, friendly staff and reception

Ascetic amenities, poor sound isolation if room faced to the street, no shower caps in bathrooms, no own bar/restaurant - only breakfast room, wi-fi payable and only in lobby/1st floor public areas

Unfortunately I spent my time at this hotel wondering if it really was dirty or just worn but it was dirty,had I seen the inside of the duvet cover on the first day I would not have stayed. The bar (stated on 2nd floor in the lift) was either a coca cola fridge in reception or over the road depending on member of staff asked, it does mention you can request ice in the hotel brochure but we were told this was incorrect. I don't know if it is a local problem but there was also a really bad smell of drains which seemed worse because of the overall effect of the hotel. The only reason I booked this hotel is because I saw a management reply to an earlier complaint stating work was being undertaken, I saw no evidence of this and in my opinion feel that the hotel is being advertised under false pretences, I personally would not recommend the hotel nor would I stay here again, earlier pictures I had seen after booking the room which was non refundable were in my mind a good reflection of the hotel and that is not good !!!!

Location is excellent - 20 Euro/20 minutes taxi from Tegel Airport . Karstadt - Ka De We - walking 3-5 minutes distance. Large Traditional German Beer Bar 100 meters.

WiFi is not reaching many rooms - you must go to lobby or bar place. Breakfast is OK for 10 euros you spent on it :-) Scrabbled egs + sausage ( russian soviet style ) and black beacon All other continental.

nothing, an appalling hotel

ruse staff, unsanitary room, non smoker double booking put in a smoking twin, room stank,noisy, no fresh air, no air con, no amenities, booking.com should be embarrassed by this hotel.

Well situated - efficient -comfortable.

Nothing really to complain about except maybe showing its age a bit - some worn carpets -their TVs very small and basic for a 4 star. Most hotels are flat screen these days.

It is not 4 star hotel (3 - ) , even with discount it costs like 4 stars, but looks lakie bad 3 star hotel. Terrible smell in toilet and toilet is too small ( like in cheap hotels in Thailand) and everything is old TV is old and small, remote is not working We have to pay for wifi and it is working only near reception ( we paid for it and discovered that it is not working in our room Young people in the room in front of ours start to speak loudly , cry and shout, and staff couldn't solve this problem in hours.

Friendly staff good value for money and great location

Hotel Zoo Berlin is in a fantastic central location on the door step of 2 underground stations ..Great value for money clean tidy and friendly . Staff helpfull. will definitely be stopping here again

The room was very resonably priced considering it's size and location. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The lock on the toilet door didn't work, and the towels and blind were fraying.
