Hotel was clean and comfortable and was convenient for town centre. Staff were very friendly. Would definately stay here again.

Maybe breakfast could be better...

A high quality stay. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Easy to find, and ideal central location. We would recommend the 5 euro 3 day parking ticket down by the river. All very efficient and well organised at the hotel. We loved Bernkastel and managed to fit in many activities in just two days: Rundfahrt, 2 visits to the Castle, winetasting, enjoyable strolls through the town, a bit of history. A beautiful autumnal experience, wonderful colours in the forests, with the benefit of very good late October weather. The booking-in process worked very efficiently. Thank you.

Only one minor moan: very expensive bottle of water in the room, which we imagined was free as it was set out on the table.

The location for the Mosel is excellent.

Significant noise from the traffic throughout the night. The bed was not comfortable and although requested extra pillows these were very poor in quality. The bar was used by the hotel staff who smoked and therefore made this room unusable for non-smokers!

Very nice German style Gasthof. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and despite being approximately 100m from the weekend Wine Fest, the hotel was very quiet at night. The triple room included a small baclony which was a nice feature.

Good location, friendly staff. Very spacious room for three people. Beds were comfortable. Great shower! Great breakfast too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Convenient for Bernkastel, easy to park! Comfortable room. Room quiet, as not on street-side.

Waterproof cover on mattress makes the beds very hot. Unpleasant smell (drains) in bahtroom.

Good location right next to the old town. A cosy, atmospheric, very clean hotel. Very good meals. Friendly, helpful staff.

Noisy road right outside, and parking awkward - there are free parking spaces for guests but they are a few minute's walk away in the main riverside car park.

Situated near all remarkable attractions. Free parking in hotel's own yard.

There was no potty available for our little kid. Quite heavy traffic in front of the hotel, the main entrance is straight from the street.

helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere

We enjoyed the friendly, helpful staff , the nice sized room and the very good breakfast. All at a reasonable room rate. A good location with a short walk to the main plaza area with shopping and restaurants.

The Hotel was clean,Staff was only seen at Breakfast and also we only booked for Bed and Breakfast we were charched 11Euros for the Restaurant for each night,when we wanted to use the Restaurant one night we were told it was shut due to only 5 Resedents in the Hotel,but were still charched the 11 Euros for it.

Excellent service, immaculately clean, excellent location and very good breakfast.

Only problem we had was with parking - we spent 11 Euros on arrival because we parked in the bus park by mistake, and then another 1.5 Euros in the car park, because we didn't know there were allocated parking spaces for the hotel. We only found this out when we had actually arrived at hotel reception, so before your guests arrive, providing them with more information about where to park would be very helpful. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zur Post.
