Staff were very friendly and helpful. I also liked the fact that the cleaning staff folded my pyjamas each day - not expected, but a nice wee touch! Not having to faff about getting the WiFi to work was good too - logged in once, and that was it for the week, rather than having to log in through a portal page every time you connect to it.
The walls aren't the thickest, so if you make the mistake of going on the week Kölner Karneval is on, make sure you have some earplugs in case you end up next to some noisy neighbours!
I had requsted a quiet room. But they had not quiet. Also lady in breakfast service was not polite.
Most of the staff was really friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and giving tips about our stay. Beautiful breakfast room and free WiFi.
FYI, shared toilets
I came for a long weekend at the Christmas markets with my mum and we loved staying here. Lady who served us breakfast every day couldn't have been nicer and the breakfast buffet itself was great with plenty to choose from. The room was cosy and comfortable but do remember to bring shampoo as multi-purpose sachets in the bathroom are quite tiny! Location was great - within walking distance from pretty much everything and so close to three different tram lines if you want to give your feet a break. Would definitely stay here again.
Located near many bars and restaurants, clean, friendly staff at the reception.
Lady serving breakfast extremely rude.
Super clean hotel with superb service.. everyone at the front desk was phenomenal in helping us with directions and tourist things to do... a very kind man who didnt speak English gave me some aspirin in the middle of the night when my partner woke up with a headache.. excellent service/hotel.. would stay here again
Value for money is the most impotant consideration for any customer. Everything one required was well provided. Breakfast was good value. Location was good.
Shared toilet. Lack of smoking facilities.
The room was very clean, with a spacious and brand new bathroom. Very good value for money.
A nice walk from the train station, with lots of nice stores and restaurants nearby
Very friendly staff.
Poor breakfast. Value vs quality - bad. Single Room to small and old fashioned.
Price Secure parking - although you are charged per "day" instead of 24h cycles which was cheeky.
Very noisy if you sleep in the front of the building. Curtains don't keep the light out in the evening. Beds not very comforatable.
There were private shower in my room and the whole amenities were clean and beautiful. The morning room was so pretty. Great staffs, great room, and great memories for Koln.
The hotel locates about 20minuts walk from the central station, so it was a little bit far from the Dom or the new market. Use tram will better.
helpfull staff clean conditions
Staff friendly curteous very helpful would return any time
Nothing to complain about
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty decent, although certain items weren't refilled. The location is right in the center so a lot of things are at walking distance.
The room was way too small for 2. The room was noisy. The curtains didn't block any light so the room was very bright, even at night due to street lights. The beds were too short. I'm 188cm and I couldn't lay straight even with my head against the wall. The shower has no privacy at all.
Hotel Weber is very comfortable and convenient for a solo traveler on a budget. It is clean, highly friendly, in a good location, and has all the amenities. The staff are ready and willing to help with any questions with a smile. I recommend it!
Shared WC and small rooms, but this is not a significant problem.
good location, good staff and clean facilities.
The staff could not be more helpful, they wee amazing. Great location to the city centre. Good transport links via tram. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Good choice at breakfast.
Our room overlooked the road where the tram went past. It was very noisy at night and early morning. No air con so the window needed to be open.
Perfect location around nice bars and restaurants, very friendly staff and clean room
Room was a bit light at night. Maybe other curtains?
Central hotel in the heart of Cologne, close to Zülpicher Platz with good access to public transport. Shower inside the room, toilets on the floor (to be shared with others)
The young couple during the day is very friendly! The ubication is great!
The last day I was there, all day long there wasn´t WiFi Can´t believe that I paid for an individual room and I took someone one night and the man at the reception didn´t let me! He said I couldn´t do that because I had a single room! I was shocked, I paid for some privacy and I felt like my parents didn´t let me go inside with someone!
Hotel was very clean with a good breakfast. My room was a single at the back of the hotel with a shower which was quiet and bright. I slept well.
The toilet was on a landing through a fire door a little distance from the room. I was aware that the room was not ensuite before booking but found this arrangement a bit tiresome. It is clearly a family run hotel and you are expected to follow hotel rules - ideal for person travelling on business. I stayed from Thursday to Monday (3rd - 7th July) and during the entire stay saw 4 other guests with whom I had no communication. No opportunity to exchange experiences of Cologne!
The staff are nice
