The staff were so helpfull and friendly, peacefull and relaxing location. Ease of access to the city center, train station and fair grounds. Breakfast is very good. |

The staff were very good, attentive, presentable and professional. Front Desk and concierges were very helpful. They resolved problems well, and were very helpful. The breakfast was reasonably good, although a little too expensive for the quality. The bar menu was very good value. The room on arrival was really unacceptable. There was torn duvet cover on one bed, and in the wardrobe, the spare pillow was stained with what appeared to be blood! Not really what you would expect from a International 4* hotel! However, the manager was really apologetic, and ensured these were changed immediately. We stayed 6 nights, and one light in the bathrooom flickered on/off for I think 4 or 5 days, the laundry I gave took 2 days to be returned, and this only after I informed the front desk It was still not returned to my room. As I was due to checkout the following morning, it was pointless sending it to the laundry there was no time left to wear it before I was at home again! |

i enjoyed the location and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. the breakfast in the executive lounge was excellent, and the view to the cathedral was great i thought the rooms on the 6th floor were disappointing- small and decoratively dull. |

Good location to base business activity and utilize/visit local attaractions...reasonably close to rail transportation for day trips. WiFi fees; separate fees for each computer in the room |

What a view of the working river Rhine and Koln Cathedral, fantastic city scape outline, simply a world class location and convenient to the Koln Messe exhibition venue. Lack of clear information about available surrounding local and hotel parking facilties, ended up with a ticket on nearby street, but one of the staff helped to arrange to pay on my behalf as you have to go into a bank and I was travelling back on the Sunday, left him a tip for his troubles. Should not have to pay extra as a guest in 5 star for parking surely. |

The closeness to the city and it's sites. The facilities there that made a stay in day good for most all that we needed was inside the hotel itself. I didn't particularly enjoy having to pay for parking one night. We didn't find out until we sent for our car and was told by the day doorman that we should park our car in front of the hotel. It was the night doorman that parked our car in the first place. |
