Hyatt Regency Mainz  

Very clean, helpful staff and great location.

We asked for a quiet room and were given one with views of the river, which was lovely, but very noisey so didn't sleep well.

The staff was amazing. Their management of a restaurant reservation mis hap was outstanding. The Bellpepper restaurant is wonderful. The location along the Rhine is stunning- a must in the area

The hotel had a lovely ambiance about it. With a beautiful open lobby backing onto the old building with a glass roof and sun streaming in, it was incredibly welcoming. Breakfast overlooking the river with eggs being made fresh any way you want them made it a delight to get up in the morning. Get a room with a view over the river if you can - just a treat to wake up in the morning. My room wasn't huge but however felt just right. The bathroom with a separate shower and tub was great - wish I had one like it at home. Was there on business but it felt like a little treat to be staying there. Spa and gym were really nice too. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again hopefully for pleasure anytime.

I have appreciate very much. The Hyatt is a fantastic hotel: very confortable; great view to the river; modern archicteture sharing with ancient build; great restaurant with perfect decoration; unforgatable breakfast. Friendly staf; garage and a lot of facilities like a spa. I will really recommed it and I hope came back again.

I like everything

The staff were outstanding. Have stayed at a lot of hotels and, as a group, all staff were professional, helpfull, attentive and considerate. From the time we arrived with a car the service provided was outstanding. The staff worked as a team and whether it was concierge, reception, lounge they all worked together and communicated effectively. The location of the hotel is great and is spacious, clean and welcoming. Although probably used mainly as a conference venue we found it a really comfortable place to stay as tourists.

One surprise - they haven't changed to TVs to flat screens yet. Seems a bit out of step with the Hyatt brand and everything else about the hotel. Didn't really affect us, and it is apparent that due to the way the current TVs are set up this will be a costly exercise, but something to be addressed.

Easy to find. Close to the city centre. The room had a fantastic view of the Rhine. A spectacular setting for a city break.

Lived our room and bathroom. Spacious and luxurious. Great check out time at 12 which gave us time to enjoy some sights. Very friendly receptionist which made us feel welcome on our first trip to Germany - unlike airpot personnel. Well done Hyatt. We would definitely stay again.

Front desk/concierge should have better knowledge about restaurants and local festivities.

The service at the reception and in the dining room was excellent.

First we were given a room to the side street - overlooking buildings ,which needed some updating - but then we got a room overlooking the river Rhine . ( of course we paid for the upgrade ,which was fine and worth it ) So make sure you don't get a room to the side street and not a room under the Lounge on the fifth floor .( the lounge is on the sixth floor and they start to clean It at six o'clock ,which is rather annoying if you want to sleep a little longer .

Too overpriced restaurant.

The view of the Rhine is beautiful and the fact that the hotel is attached to an old fort can't be beat. Above all else, the staff here are amazing. They were extremely helpful, took care of everything and for my wife's birthday they had a cake waiting in our room. Johanna really looked after us and we can't thank her enough for making our trip worth while. Plus the price wasn't that bad, it was more midrange of our trip for comparable hotels. Some even more expensive hotels were far inferior to this one.

Great reasonable central location and straight on the banks of the river Rhine, great restaurant with fabulous food and service (and view), breakfast choice reasonable (was expecting more) but phantastic quality, great decor / style throughout hotel

Tolles Personal sehr freundlich! Tolle Lage und der Blick auf den Rhein aus dem Zimmer ist grandios!

Das ich wieder abreisen musste

Fast alles.

Das Personal ist offensichtlich angehalten sich devot zu geben. Etwas lockerer, mehr Natürlichkeit wie im richtigen Leben, wäre meines Erachtens für beide Seiten besser.

Es hat mir alles gut gefallen, besonders das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Im Badezimmer roch es nach muffigen Putzlappen.

Rheinblick, Lobby, offene Küche

das Hoteleigene Parkhaus war leider besetzt.

очень холодно в номерах видимо экономят на отоплении а климатконтроль не спасает

unser Zimmer lag über der Passage und gegnüber einer Disco. Von daher war es nachts sehr laut
