Ibis Aachen Marschiertor (Aix-la-Chapelle)  

Perfect location for city exploring, added bonus is the private carpark Spotless hotel throughout, helpfull and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with ample choice and good quality items. Would stay again if the occaision would arrise

Easy walking from Aachen Hbf and only 10 minutes stroll from centre of Aachen. Efficient, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. We liked the laminate flooring.

Pity there was no coffee making facilities in the room but this was made quite clear on booking. Couldn't get away from TV screen in the bar.

The renovation was fresh and stylish, the service was excellent, the location was very good for those travelling by train (close to the train station and not far from the cathedral). Price- quality ratio was very good.

The room was on the small side (but tidy and pleasant) and the breakfast seemed somewhat expensive, therefore we found a nice breakfast place nearby.

The bathroom was clean, but the water in the shower did not drain.The hotel sells more parking spaces than available without notifying customers who already paid. I ended up parking the car on the road (a new car exceeding 65k Euro in value!). I particularly booked this hotel because of the availability of secured parking spaces. Staff handled this situation extremely unprofessional and poorly. The way they were talking to me was very rude, which was even unbelievable! They invited us for a breakfast which was already in the room rate (showing how unprofessional and poorly managed they are). Ridiculous! Cheap hotel, cheap staff. Never again! Spending a little more money to book another hotel is well worth it! Surrounding rather loud, be prepared to be woken up at 5:30 by garbage trucks and people throwing the empty containers around for 30 minutes!

The rooms were small, but had all I needed. I had a room to the backside, which was nice and silent. The bathroom was really small, but ok for me, standard Ibis-quality.

The restaurant crew was a little bit unprofessional. But nothing to really complain about.

I have stayed at this hotel regularly,but this winter the car park was like an ice rink and the heating did not work and we were offered heaters for the room,instead of sorting out the heating.I would still stay again as it is a friendly hotel and clean

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Hotelauswahl und würden uns auch immer wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden. Bei der nächsten Buchung würden wir jedoch auf ein Zimmer bestehen, das nicht zur Straßenseite liegt, es war doch sehr laut.

Centraal en gemakkelijk te bereiken met bus en trein Op een paar minuten lopen van de Dom van Aken Compacte, nette kamer, prima bed. Heel goed ontbijtbuffet, ruime keus, werd tot op het laatst bijgevuld

Het was echt veel te warm in het hotel en in de kamer. Met de thermostaat was dat helaas niet te regelen. Raam moest open, maar dan jammer genoeg last van verkeer

Gute Lage, sauberes Hotel.

la proximité du centre ville et de la gare sont les atouts majeurs de cet hôtel. le niveau qualité/prix est toujours respecté dans ce genre d'établissement. Les chambres donnant sur la cour intérieur sont généralement tranquille durant la nuit.
