Quiet and private. Beautifully decorated room and dining area. Linen table cloth, lovely china and table setting in dining area. 6 foot bathtub to luxuriate in room. Wonderful breakfast buffet which included assortments of rolls, pastries, fruit medily, chesses, chilled deli meats; fresh squeezed orange juice, other juices, cereals, eggs cooked to order, hot beverages, etc. Wi-Fi in room. Location great to historic city center. Wonderful restaurants close by. Two short blocks from bus stop servicing rail station. Luggage not a concern traveling on buses. Stairs. No lift. Narrow circular staircase is a killer. Definitely need to be able bodied. Very difficult to navigate stairs. Steps very shallow depth wise and spiral nature of stairs made it very difficult to climb or descend with heavy suitcases. 24 steps to 1st level and 21 steps to 2nd level of rooms. There were additional levels above 2nd floor.

Room was not soundproof. Heard sirens from nearby hospital half the night, other travelers coming in and out of the hotel all night/morning. Room and especially bathroom are tiny! Breakfast expensive.

We booked because it is close to the train station in Aachen, just about a 5 minute walk. It is also only about a 10 minute walk to the center of Aachen. We were surprised that the room was so nice, clean and comfortable. Definitely a good value.

Located close to the city center with restaurants, shopping & local attractions. Walking distance to local bakeries for coffee & roll for breakfast which was much cheaper than the offered breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money for budget travelers.

The hotel was well located. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The lobby had free public Internet. The desk clerk at reception was to be commended for his helpfulness. He was patient and answered our many questions about sights, directions, translations, the computer, etc. He found us a room for an extra night. He is excellent with helping people.

Hotel Ibis is located few steps away from Aachen Main Train station and close to the city center. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Elevators work very fast. They were cleaning our room everyday and changing towels. It has a flat TV and a wonderful-extra comfortable double bed. Breakfast costs 10 euro per person what I find very expensive. Bathroom is very little. Towels are too thin.

The location was easy to find. The room clean and beds comfortable. Modern decor. Staff very friendly and underground secure parking. The room was only small for a twin bedroom and the shower area also small. If you are a person on the slightly big size it would be uncomfortable. The parking spaces are only small.It is a tight squeeze for a big car
