clean and good location
I arrived a few hours before check-in opened in the hope of dropping off my luggage, but staff were kind enough to let me into my room early. All staff I encountered were very friendly and happy to have a laugh. Extremely comfy bed as per usual in Ibis and lovely view over a garden
Bathroom dated and pokey - could not sit on the toilet without knees touching wall!! Location super convenient but slightly dodgy at night
The bed is comfortable. Location is very good, it takes 10 mins to the city center. Fast check in and check out. There are city maps and brochures about interesting places to visit.
The room is small, but if you only sleep there, it doesn't matter!
Location was very good. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good
Rooms were a little small but okay for a couple of nights. Bathroom also very small
Clean, modern, and great breakfast
Room was very small.
Position is good for central station, friendly staff, clean and functional. The rooms are small, particularly the bathroom but shower is good and the bed is comfy. Breakfast is standard continental, but well done and not too expensive. If you want space and luxury, stay somewhere else, but if you want a simple, functional and clean place to put your head down for a couple of nights its ideal.
The stay was expensive for this level of hotel, but there was a big exhibition on and all hotels in the city were overpriced for that period. So it was still probably relatively cheap compared to others.
Location and value for money
Noise from hallway if other guests are noisy.
Location not bad, 5 min to train station. A Thai restaurant and a small market nearby... and some casinos.
It was not warm enough though we turned on the heating... but luckily the staff lent us another electric heater so in the end it was satisfying.
Location, facilities and breakfast.
When arrived, the recipcienist informd us that the price for each room has rised in 60€, and they couldn't inform us earlier due to thatthey didn't have any contact information - which is wrong. that left us with a bitter taste and made us question about this chain of hotels integritiy.
Very well located - getting anywhere around Munich and surrounds was pleasant and simple. A friendly hotel with staff who were very willing to help with any requests you might have. The 24-hour service at the bar was a real plus - whether for a great German beer in the small hours or a coffee to start your day!
Hand towels not provided - had to be specifically requested and then no sooner did we have them when the next day they were removed by housekeeping to be washed!! Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the hotel though.
Very good position, 5 minutes walk from the central station, 15 from city center. Clean and nice, perfect for a couple of days. Free WiFi.
Small room and small bathroom.
The location was excellent, 10min walk to Main trein station hapftbanhoff. You could go to everywhere from there. The bed was confortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was very nice, above average. 24hour service bar with food. Real handy for late night meals.
Shower really small. The heater was broken and we could not turn it down so we felt really hot both nights, it ruined our sleep. The elevator broke the night we left so at 4:30h in the morning we had to climb down 6 flours by stairs with 2 heavy luggages with no help from the staff (dispite my ask for it). That messed up the hole mood for us cuz a big chain hotel with only one elevator is just a bit unacceptable.
Location of hotel is good with easy access to the main train station and local trams and bus routes. The staff in the hotel particularly reception were very helpful particularly as I was travelling solo and needed a few pointers where to go!
I found the rooms were very small and the toilet/bathroom was tiny with little room to navigate- glad I was not sharing as it would have been a tight squeeze for two people. I found the breakfast was poor and only had breakfast once in the hotel.
The room was worth for its price. It was clean. Facilities were new and good, except the air conditioner. It was a bit old. Breakfast was great.
The window in the bathroom is transparent to outside.
It´s very near from the central station
It´s a very old part of the city
Friendly Staff and superb location to explore Munich
LOCATION AND STAFF
small bath romm but what can one do?????.Space is what it is.
good size modern room. location not far from shopping street and very close to munich HBF railstation.
Breakfast was good but expensive. there is a great cafe 50m right from the hotel that has great pastries and coffee at really cheap prices.
Quite close to the centre station, the rate is reasonable. The room is small but clean like all ibis hotels in the world. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The heating system did not work so the staff changed the room for me immediately.
Just a short walk from the train station and the Marienplatz/downtown area. The rooms were super small, but extremely clean and comfortable, and really all we needed. The hotel is near a number of great hidden restaurants and a fantastic bar called Cafe Kosmos. We recommend the hotel as an inexpensive way to experience historic Munich while having access to some more modern cuisine and nightlife.
Small rooms leave little space for movement or luggage placement. Also, parking garage is tight.
Location, near train central station. Good service
Breakfast is good location near Central station
Hotel Area full of Bobs and adults bars which you feel not secure while going to the hotel
Convenience to train station; free w-lan; friendly staff.
quite a bit more expensive on second stay than on first - might have picked a different location if the prices had been that high the first time.
