Ibis Styles Berlin City Ost  

Simple and rather small, but very clean room with new furniture. Great location in peaceful street, only 5 U-bahn stops from the main square Alexander Platz, where you can take any other public transport to all parts of the city. Excellent value for money!

Rather expensive breakfast (8 € per person) - we didn't take it. There is a great bakery with cofee and exverything just across the street on the corner :)!

It was well located. The staff was awfully friendly. Breakfast (included in the price) was more than excellent. No doubt I would use Ibis again.

Apparently there was a problem with the wi-fi advertised. Couldn't get internet. This is not a complain, just a note.

Great hotel. Fantastically helpful staff in terms of providing directions to venues we needed to find. Very clean room and quiet surroundings considering it was a city hotel. Would certainly stay again - terrific value for money.

For the price this hotel is a+ it is located on a back street just down from Samiterstrasse U-Bahn which links you so easily to the Airport sxl or to Alexanderplatz we found getting through the easy and so simple, the hotel has recently been taken over, and has just been refurbed and looks really nice now.

The only issue I had was now its Ibis and not Agon and as part of Ibis's new standard you get free breakfast but because we booked with Agon it transpired that didint transfer and we would have to pay 8 euros each my issue was they didnt tell us we had to pay and treated us like an Ibis customer, I would recommned not paying that price and go over to the amazing bakery across the rd fror breakfast

The Ibis Styles Berlin Ost is perfectly located for either the 02 arena or the arena across the Spree which is where we went. Berlins transport system makes travel into the centre a doddle from this location with trams, S bahn (overground) and U bahn all within easy reach. There were lots of shops bars and restaurants nearby also the bakers across the street was an ideal place to get a croissant or sandwich if you didnt fancy the full breakfast in the hotel and a lot cheaper. Staff were very helpful providing good information.

The bed was a little soft for my liking but apart from that the room was clean and comfortable.

Freeindly welcoming and easy to transportation and close to a fab turish faffelfood the best ever.

Unfortunately the corner store shop gave us the wrong directions to get to the hotel and it took us and extra half hour walking tofind u form the metro when u were so close. prehaps u could tell the corner store at the top of the train metro where and who u are so when other travellers ask for u they give the right instrctions.

The hotel is in a good location for public transport by U-bahn, S-bahn and tram. Most parts of Berlin are reached fairly quickly from there. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are fairly standard for thi class of hotel but clean and comfortable. I have stayed there before and hope to do so again.

Nothing, except some bedrooms are perhaps a liitle too small.

I chose the hotel because of its location near to where my daughter was living, but I also found that it was conveniently a few blocks from a large shopping centre as well as a major thoroughfare which had transport access to other parts of the city. There were also several bakeries and cafes in close proximity to the hotel. It was in a leafy street and, if you had a room at the back, was generally quiet. There was a breakfast restaurant serving a good selection for a reasonable price and internet was provided free of charge. All staff spoke some English and were courteous.

I stayed in this hotel on 2 occasions over a few days which meant that I had a different room each time. The first time my room was facing the courtyard and was generally quiet, but the second time the room was at the front and at ground level so I was bothered by passers-by late at night a couple of times. The beds on both occasions were single 'bunk' beds, therefore not as much room as what I generally expect, but were adequate for one person. Perhaps this is normal. Given the size and design of the rooms there was no opportunity to fit in a larger bed.

The hotel is in a great location - very easy to get to the city centre via the underground. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the staff were very pleasant. It's a great hotel for a city break.

There is no air conditioning, so we left the windows open, but the road outside is quite busy and noisy. The holder for the shower head was broken in our room.

Good location near metro and tram station.

One day the maid has decided to wake us up 0900 am because she wanted to clean the room!!! Every day we had to leave the room key in the reception. Didn't she checked first? Unacceptable!
