Bed, shower, PRICE!
Wi-Fi connection was non-existent. I had to use my mobile data.
the staff were pleasant and friendly.
No heat and it was chilly. Facility was old. Breakfast was minimal and not cheap. At best my stay was tolerable.
Great night and great breakfast ....
the staff was very helpful.
shower leaked on floor from poor gasket on door.
Just like any Ibis, standard in a good way. No bad surprises.
Breakfast should be included for the price.
Rooms are good, you get what you pay...
The lady at the reception does not seem ok, se gets overexcited over simple questions and does not serve right. Breakfast poor (only meat and cheese). If you are a vegan - no food for you and it costs 10eur per person! The location of the hotel is right accross from cemeteries, so thats a bit creepy as well.
The basic comfort you can expect from an Ibis. Accommodation in Augsburg is expensive so this was reasonable but distinctly no frills.
Dismal bar and restaurant area.
We arrived direct from 30 hours travel and needed a rest. They found us room immediately and we got an instant good start to holiday.
No more things, to be honest it is a good compromise between price and service, located near the center. I found a pub and restaurant near is really delicious and is named flanningan's post!
Everything was nice and clean. The food was good - I ate in the evening and took breakfast the following morning. Staff spoke perfect English which helped immensely as my German is pretty poor. OK its a ten minute walk from the station which was fine for me with just one bag, others may wish to grab a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was visiting Augsberg / Munich.
I honestly can't think of anything.
Breakfast was good. Secure underground parking.wiFi was good. Close to town centre.
I liked it because i think: 1. It is value for money 2. Very close to rail head and tram head 3.Quiet place, no noise All in all nice experience All the best Krishna Aghoram
good location - a short walk to the city center and pedestrian zone, nice and helpful staff, the hotel has it's own locked underground parking lot for 8 euros.
price, wifi, location, helpful staff
asked for twin room but got a double room, breakfast slightly expensive, room was old and not clean (dusty floor)
Location, easy to find, parking underground.
the location and resiption staff only
very poor hotel room are vey small looks like they devided each original room to two separat room and tolit /shoawer room not for normal size it's for fareast size or kids . room not clean
Breakfast and wifi worked.
One slow elevator. No aircon or not working.
5 minutes walk from downtown
its well located, a short walk to the main town, just far enough out to be peaceful and good parking for our motorbike. Clean and efficiently run, just what we needed for a one night pitstop. thanks
Close to train station for backpackers. We based ourselves here and day tripped to Munich and Fussen. Like someone else commented, there are two Ibis hotel very close together so make sure you know which one you booked. This is just a bit further down. Convenient walking to the old town. Found two great vegan restaurants close by also!
Trains run all night and you can hear them but it didn't bother us. Street noise with windows open but Germany WON !!! So what would you expect? ;) (world cup soccer for those not following it.)
I didn't realize that this was a low-end hotel. It was akin to an American-style hostel: Spartan rooms and so-so location. It did not match the description on the webpage - I had to keep checking to make sure we were in the right hotel. It's not that the hotel is bad; it's just not what I expected.
Price , especially charge to park a motorbike
Just away from the centre, but east walk to all Augsburg has to offer. Parking safe and secure.
Rooms are worn out, small and beds and pillows not too comfortable. Very noisy area and long walk from the center of town. Stay here only if you have low budget and just passing by.
