Excellent personalized attention by the owners. Very clean and comfortable. Located in a very quiet street.
10 minutes walk to Central Koln train station. But its a nice walk anyways.
The hotel was clean and tidy with everything you needed plus an excellent continental breakfast
It is in an old building with steep staircases and no elevator
friendly staff, near to the old town with bars and restaurants the beverages in the minibar are excellent value for money
very small room directly going off the staircase tv was not really working right
Very comfy and cozy small family run hotel. The room was clean and fresh. Perfect for a city trip, 5 min walk from main train station and cathedral.
Very friendly staff, perfect breakfast
Great breakfast, helpful staff
Location and warm and friendly staff.
Close to city center, quiet location. Convenient room compared to price
Shared toilet and bathroom. But there was one on the floor for 4 rooms so I did not have any problems.
Fabulous hosts; excellent breakfast; super clean accommodations and comfortable bed; across the street from a beautiful Gothic church; perfect location for getting around Cologne on foot
It was very warm and my single room did not get a cross breeze so sleeping was difficult. Need a fan for the room. Easy to fix.
I loved free wifi, Clean sheets, shower facilities. Breakfast was awesome and staff were lovely!
Quite compact and not a lot of room in the bathroom that I used but it was all clean and the people were lovely
Convenient location Very helpful staff Very good breakfast Modern room
No elevator Small room
Lovely clean and modern room. Very friendly greeting on booking in from the owner
Nice staff, the room is bright and clean. The share bathroom is pretty good too.
No elevator. It can be problem for someone who has heavy luggage
Breakfast was very good! Staff also nice
my room was a bit small (not all the single rooms are identical in size however), and not very soundproof
Great little hotel, basic but very clean. Location is in a quieter part of town, but still walking distance to the railway station and Dom. Excellent breakfast was included.
The staff is kind.
A small hotel close to the heart of the city. Very friendly and down-to-earth service from Frau Thormann. Good breakfast in a pleasant room downstairs. And those stairs! We were up on the third floor and got our exercise going up and down. The rooms are small but well fitted out, and clean, with good servicing. Free WiFi- works well in the rooms. Plenty of opportunity to practice our German, but Frau Thormann communicates well in English too. This was a good base for exploring Cologne.
The stairs would be a problem for some.
Good breakfast in the morning. Helpful staff, I requested for hot water boiler and I was provided with one and cup. Even though it was a shared bath and toilet, I never have once clashes with any one using it. It's always available and very cleanly maintained.
The four storey climb to my single room.
Location and the price
Rude workers, very very small room
very nice and clean place! Perfect breakfast and wifi.
Just one bathroom for several rooms
Very friendly staff. Walking distance from main train station. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room.
Located just out of the centre so quiet but close to everything. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Room was nice, bright and clean. Friendly staff.
As someone not from Europe, the European pillow made sleeping difficult as I've never used one before. It was warm while I was there and the window doesn't open very much so it became fairly warm in the room without being able to cool down.
Very friendly staff, excellent location, value for money. I've had early sunday morning trip to Heidelberg and the staff kindly arranged and delivered my breakfast late evening just to the room.
The front desk staff were quite friendly and very helpful (and even apologetic when I snuck into the breakfast room while they weren't looking). The room was lovely and the breakfast was excellent.
Not much. You could hear some noise from the room I was in, it was along the main staircase, but it was never bothersome.
