Location to Messe and u-bahn was perfect
No kettle in the room or facilities for tea/coffee after breakfast
Prunes jam at breakfast. The rennovated shower room.
The male receptionist, very grumpy. The wall to wall rug need to be changed.
A lot of noise!
bed shower warm in the room big room
staff extra pay 15 euro for early booking (13:00pm instead of 14:00pm!!) breakfast 9.90 euro and not included in the rate room not too much light in the room the wi fi in the room is working badly
In absolutely no way a 4-star hotel, 2-star, perhaps. Extremely disappointing.
Large rooms, breakfast, position of the hotel, wi fi, clean
Rude girl at the reception, smell of shit in the reception, expensive and small parking, no restaurant, i received a smoking room also i asked for a non smoking one.
Shower was clogged and overflowing.
Good location. Close to Messe. Well connected transport links.
We stayed 3 days. Had to change a room key twice as it didn't work. One day we found no towels at our bathroom. Cleaning only included waste bag change. Poor breakfast. No minibar in a room.
Location, wifi reliable, heating worked well
Hotels seem to restrict the number of towels they provide in the bathroom. Addional ones are available but I really don't want to come back in evening find a single towel for the shower plus a hand towel and have to go down to reception and ask for a 2nd towel for the shower. This is a common problem in hotels. Insufficient staff at reception, one person isn't enough, I don't want to have to wait 10 minutes to ask for a second towel or more hangers, etc. housekeeping kept the room clean but not a huge amount of attention to detail, empty glasses left in their location rather than cleaned and placed where they were from, towels left where they were left and not changed or at least hung up somewhere sensible.
Instead of mattres, there was only foam! Extremly unfriendly staff. Not a 4 stars hotel.
Cheap offer (~80€ for 2people 2nights) WiFi worked well
Staff had bad breath (really bad) Some wires looked out of the wall Walls are thin
The room condition is pretty good. Overall pleasant.
It's a bit far away from the city centre.
Transportation Comfortable room
Loved the location, staff service, the cleaness, the food, and the elegance. I still am not used to using two beds to make a full bed but I got that in various places in Europe so maybe full large beds are not as common. Other than that, loved the experience there.
The staff at the reception desk were always helpful and friendly. I found Frau Obermaier to be especially kind and helpful. I stayed for two weeks and loved that I could remain in my room some mornings until eleven and not be disturbed and still have my room be cleaned by the time I came back in the evening. The cleaning staff did a great job of keeping the room clean. Although my room was by the elevator, I found my floor to be very quiet. Only once was I disturbed by the cleaning staff or someone talking in a loud voice by the elevator. I also appreciated that it was a smoke-free floor. There are heavy curtains as well as built-in metal blinds you can lower to block out light. Some street noise is inevitable, especially as a street car line passes by the hotel, but the street is relatively quiet. The room was plenty warm and you can adjust the heat. I actually opened the windows some as I like it fairly cool. There is a towel warming rack in the bathroom, which I did use to dry a tiny bit of laundry. The free Wifi in the lobby worked well. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel and did not have a car, so I can't comment on the food or parking. This hotel is located in a great part of town. You can walk a couple short blocks to the subway or the street car for quick and easy access to the heart of downtown, the main train station, the convention center or the airport. There is a supermarket near the subway station that is open until midnight and on weekends. The Leipzigerstrasse, with many shops, restaurants, banks and pretty much anything else you could want, is just two blocks from the hotel. You can walk two blocks in the opposite direction to the Palmengarten, a wonderful park with exotic plants, a pond with rowboats, and a great restaurant.
I was disappointed that the fitness center on the top floor was never open the whole time I was there. There was a sign saying that it was closed for technical problems and I think that sign had been there for a while. Having such a facility in the hotel would have been great.
Nice value for money hotel.
everything was good!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is big enough and clean although very basic. Overall it's ok, we probably paid more for booking during a trade show.
Could use more fresh vegetables and fruit for breakfast, wi-fi should be secured to make it faster
Amazing price. near to the U-Bahn station. It takes about 5 mins by walk from the station. The rooms are so clean and you can find almost everything you need. The Wifi signal wasn't that strong.. but I could use it without any inconveniece.
Too expensive breakfast.
Clean. 2 stops from Main Station.
nice and clean room, good wifi
breakfast, direction how to reach the hotel in the website, very noisy disturbing neighbors.
close to trams and U-bahn, restaurants and shops, friendly staff, good facilities, good temperature in the room
breakfast was not included and was quite expensive; no fridge in the room
Friendliness of the staff. Price.
Location was a bit out of the way for us, but close to the metro.
