“ I thought the location was good as it was easily accessible to the town centre and the markets. We received travel passes to use the buses for free during our stay and this was a real bonus. The hotel was very quiet which was excellent as we were near a busy rioad. The Bar staff and the most of the restaurant staff were very friendly. The hotel was lovely and warm. Food was good too. ”

Clean and functional design was pleasing to the eye and convenient. Location was great for travel and exploring Mainz. The mattress, pillows, and comfort cover were probably the worst combination I have found in any hotel. Hard, abrasive, inflexible. I wondered if anyone in your company ever slept in your hotel bed.

The rooms are quite spacious and very quiet. They are also decorated pleasantly. The staff were helpful and courteous at all times. The hotel also provided a complimentary ticket which allows the use of local bus/tram/train services which was a nice addition. I felt like the hotel was trying to extract money from me at any opportunity. The wifi was provided by o2 MyCloud service which was extraordinarily expensive. Also, I went to eat breakfast on the first morning of my stay and took a plate of cold cuts and sat down. I was then presented with a bill for 15 euros!! For some breakfast. That was the last time I had breakfast during my 12 night stay. 15 euros is probably the most expensive breakfast I have encountered. There wasn't even a cooked food option. I would recommend any who stay at this pleasant hotel to go to the train station nearby where there is a good selection of sandwiches and pretzels etc. for low price.

Neat and clean room, comfortable beds. Free public transport during the stay and situated next to the central station, so lots of options to explore Mainz and Wiesbaden. No free Wi-Fi, expensive breakfast.

Modern clean and good value quality hotel, close to Mainz station providing easy access to Frankfurt and surrounding areas by rail. Rooms very spacious and very well equipped. Beautiful bathroom also. Not sure the breakfast was good value at 15 Euro for the type of hotel.

Excellent and new hotel. Rooms are modern and decent. Pricing is good and it's a five minute walk from the main train station. Only one pillow per bed? I had to order up some towels as well...

We liked everything. we were pleasantly surprised as we really did not know much about the hotel but it exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We will all definitely stay at other intercity hotels and we have already recommend the intercityhotel Mainz to our friends thank you for making our visit to Mianz memorable nothing negative to say

I thought the location was good as it was easily accessible to the town centre and the markets. We received travel passes to use the buses for free during our stay and this was a real bonus. The hotel was very quiet which was excellent as we were near a busy rioad. The Bar staff and the most of the restaurant staff were very friendly. The hotel was lovely and warm. Food was good too. Firstly the 2 main receptionist I thought were very unfriendly-they were efficient but not welcoming at all. My first impression of the hotel was not good due to meeting one of them. The breakfast on 2 of the mornings we stayed was excellent but on the Sunday morning it was very busy and the breakfast was on offer until 11am, we came down t 10.20am and there was barely anything left. I asked for a number of things to be replaced but there was still so much missing that I gave up and ended up having very liitle. The breakfast is not cheap 15 euro so you would expect at least bread for toast or a pastry or a sausage of which there was none along with a whole list of other missing items. I did complain and was refunded my money without question so had that satisfaction at least My other complaint is that during the day there was no coffee facilities so you had to go way outside the hotel to get a cup of tea or coffee The bar area is very small-this could be improved on One other small problem was the choice of English TV-it would have been nice to relax for an hour or so and be able to watch something, especially as there were a huge amount of channels but the choice of English were just news items

Very nice, new and clean hotel. Rooms are very good. The breakfast is 15 euro, which I find too expensive for German standards. The breakfast is very good, but still it should not more than 10 euro. Dinner is cheaper than breakfast!! The internet is not good enough. You have to pay for it, which is also strange for a 100 euro hotel, but after paying it is impossible to have a normal Skype conversation. There is no Dutch television, but there are a few Arabic ones.

The room was huge, and the hotel is very close to the train station. The breakfast is good, and they even have gluten-free cereal available! Internet was not included--major negative points. I ate dinner in the restaurant one night. Even though it was almost empty, the service was very slow, and the server kept forgetting to bring me things I ordered. After that, it wasn't worth it to me to eat there again.

The InterCity Hotel Mainz is a little isolated from the center city, but it is quite close to the train transportation as well as city transportation. Quiet, clean, and a great value make this a great hotel to stay. Also, the breakfast buffet is varied and good. This is a nice hotel for adults, especially mature adults, but I would not recommend it for families with children. Also, the restaurant is not open for dinner, and we not informed beforehand.

Nice clean hotel located close to the station. Mainz is a small town so it was easy to walk to the nicer parts of the city. The staff were very helpful. We had a double bed but they only provided two single duvets. Just seemed a little odd.
