New hotel close to the railway station with very clean rooms. Compact solution, not very spacious, but functions well for 1-2 nights' stay. Helpful desk personnel. Bad internet connection, slow and breaking down constantly. |

The hotel is centrally placed less than 5 minutes walk from the main station and 10 minutes from the city centre and shopping/ cultural area. The staff were very helpful, on the whole. Despite its location next to the railway and roads the hotel has good sound insulation.Bar area is very functional with few seating areas, restaurant offers a limited yet palatable variety of food. Breakfast is expensive but you can eat out relatively cheaply nearby |

The hotel was well-located--within easy walking distance of the train station and close enough to walk downtown. It was clean, and adequately equipped. We have no complaints about the hotel. |

The room was inexpensive and it included a free pass for the train/bus system in the city. The hotel lobby, restaurant, and room were impeccably clean. In fact, the room looked brand new. The design of the room and bathroom layout/storage solutions was really sophisticated. It was a great find that I would recommend. You must exit the garage fairly immediately - less than ten minutes - after paying for your parking. This is inconvenient if you need a couple of extra minutes to pack the car or load your GPS system before getting on the road. |

When we tried to check in we were told to our dismay that the hotel had overbooked and that there was no room at athe inn. The receptionist was clearly embarrassed, but very helpful. The hotel had made alternative arrangements for us to stay at the Grand Hyatt with no extra cost to us. Clearly this was not a problem, it was like getting an uprade from economy to first class on a flight. Perhaps the hotel should examine their booking system to ensure they don't overbook. In any event they did the right thing. |

One of the staff members was very helpful and polite, and thought a bit out of the box. I think he is the staff manager. Quite noisy when opening the window during day time. At night it's very still though, and the place is fully air-conditioned. |

It was centrally located in Mainz near the Bahnhof with parking downstairs below the hotel. Reception personnel (except for Sunday morning) were not very friendly. No greeting, no smiling...I felt like I was an inconvenience. Also, I noticed there was only one towel in the bathroom for my wife and I. I called at 1600 and asked for another towel. I had to call again at 2030 because we still did not have another towel. Not a very good response for a 4-star hotel. |
