InterCityHotel Freiburg    

Lovely central situation. Free travel on all trams buses etc during stay - great bonus not having to worry about buying another ticket. Friendly helpful staff - not luxurious but everything you needed. Would definitely use again. Also we got a discount on parking too. Car was safe and dry.

Being mainly an hotel for business people the bar wasn't open all the time but there are plenty more bars/restaurants within 5 minute walk.

repairs and only ONE lift working in the hotel, chaos after breakfast

the staff is very welcoming and friendly I had the chance to have a room in 6 floor and a good view of the city at night Everything is clean and the bathroom is perfect.

Location of the hotel is very convenient for travel. Rooms are quite cosy.

Great location right on the railway. Rooms were fairly quiet. Very clean and nicely presented rooms. Easy access to the old city by foot

The Hotel was on top of the train station which was useful & yet the rooms were very quiet.

+ Location next to Freiburg Hbf and city center + Clean hotel + Good business room + Free transport card during stay (tram, bus and train in Freiburg)

- Wifi is quite expensive - Breakfast is expensive and not much variety to be chosen

Location, and Comfort

YET AGAIN !!! Over the top Internet charges, this the third time I have commented on their VERY HIGH INET charges, IBIS do it a lot cheaper, I'll be back in June/July, would stay at IBIS instead !!

location is excellent to just about evrything ,such as train station, tramp , bus, shopping, university and its clinics .

WIFI services is very bad and not free

The towels were very few also there was only one pillow .. Even if it is a single room it should be more but still it was a very nice stay. :))

Comfortable room, friendly staff and excellent location. Walking distance to the main train station and the old city. Free city bus tickets provided by the hotel. U have to pay for wifi but at that price... I still would have paid more at a hotel with free wifi! Also, plenty of coffee shops nearby with free wifi.

No free internet access, almost none english TV channels, small TV, Train station noise, slow check in and check out process...

Nice rooms, little but very confortable and essential. Hotel ideal for job trips. Tv just in german. Position: attached to the bus/train station but insonorized. Very close to the city centre, the hotel give to you the free card for public transport.

Location excellent; at the train station, next to a main tram station and next door to the bus stops for easy access to and from airport. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Tram ticket was really useful and the rooms logically laid out.

Nothing at al; all excellent.

As we were travelling by train the location was ideal - literally outside the Hauptbahnhof. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also just a 10 min. walk to the cathedral square, supermarket and lots of places to eat.

Because of the proximity to the train station and a main road we did need to close our window to keep the noise out, but the room had a small fan so it wasn't too uncomfortable.

perfect for visiting black forest area - which we did- freiburg we loved. A special mention for Akis who was extremely helpful on the phone and again when we finally met him.A credit to your company.

the one and only complaint was the noise from the overnight trains . I think possibly secondary double glaizing may help !

Parking in general was difficult and more problematic since I could not park in the BHF lot

I have stayed here often.The hotel was up to its excellent standard-good food great staff lovely room with view.

Only complaint:why did the breakfast cost almost twice as much as breakfast in another Intercity hotel-food very similar.

Smell of smoke into the hall, Internet at a high price and low signal

The location is excellent because it´s near the train station. A few steps and you are at the hotel.

There was no free wi-fi. No breakfast included. There was no air conditioning, only a little fan and it was summer. The receptionist lend us another little fan but it wasn´t enough. The room was very hot.

Very near central train station,elegant HOTEL,good buffetbreakfast and nice staff.

Immediately above underground carpark with cheap deal for parking. Good location if you arrive by train - it is immediately next to the station.

No free internet access anywhere in the hotel All internet access charged at exorbitant rates. Expensive (14 euro) breakfast - we ate in the cafe next door. Not as centrally located as we would have liked, but not too bad.
