The check-in receptionist gave us an excellent service, even though he had some bad news for us (i.e. there is no non-smoking double room free).

On booking.com, we booked a non-smoking room, but we got a smoking room. It had a terrible, smoky smell. We, non-smokers are sensitive about the smell, and one of us is extremely sensitive to it. Smoke smell causes terrible irritation in the nose. The hotel was unable to give us a non-smoking room even though we booked one. It turned out to be tolerable after we left the room window open for 5 hours -- but it was still an unpleasant experience. Also we didn't get a decent selection of soaps, shower gels and shampoo.

The staff were efficient and the rooms were clean

The hotel was extremely overpriced, for the price paid I had expected a five star hotel whereas the hotel was the equivalent of a Premier Inn/Travelodge

Our room was directly beside the huge air conditioning system and because of it's constant loud droning noise we found it difficult to get to sleep. TOTALLY disliked the fact that, on getting up, I discovered a blood stain on my sheet, not a washed stain but a red one!!!!! Also disliked the dismissive attitude at reception when I brought these matters to their attention.

Location of the hotel is very good. Staff was very helpful.

The hotel reserved 150 euro extra (over pay) on my account (I didn't expect that and nowhere was written about this and no one warned me about that before), in bathroom I found only soap and towels, there were no other bath accessories at all. And the room was very small, but it was ok.

I booked here to go to Oktoberfest. This hotel is very well situated--a 10 minute walk to the fairgrounds. The room was pretty clean, and the breakfast was terrific.

It's really super noisy. It feels like a hostel in that regard. The staff are not rude, but they're just kind of there. They are like boring robots that distribute room keys and city maps. Since I was there for Oktoberfest everything was probably a bit overpriced. But for the level of noise and quality of service, it felt like I could have just as easily stayed in a hostel. All german hostels are super nice, by the way. I'd do that, if I were you.

Excellent situation adjoining the railway station; Copious and varied breakfast. The travel card given free with the hotel room is a great advantage. I have stayed here before and expect to return.

The standard single rooms are very small--compact and efficient--but very small.

Very suitable location, just two steps from the Central railway station.

The suit is too small, bath equipment is rather old, not for 4 stars hotel.

The location was good and so was the breakfast.

They blocked off 360€ on my credit card as a guarantee and it's still not free on my credit card and I paid my stay in full on check out. They should advise you this on check in as they say the card is for guarantee but not that they block off this amount of cash!!!

Extremely poor value we had already paid 670 Euro for 6 nights and we had to a pay a further 40 euro per night just to get a decent sized room. We even had to go out and buy our own kettle as this was not provided. In fact I would like the hotel to refud me 50% of our fees we were that unsatisfied, I cannor recommend this hotel....... We were surrounded by backpackers who I am sure paid much less than we did.

Perfect Location! Being located near the central rail was extremely convenient for our day trips around the country and the center city was only a short walk. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was always helpful.
