We stayed at the Hotel Isator just before Christmas so that we could go to the Munich Christmas market. It was a great location as it was just a 10 minute walk to the market, but it was in a quieter neighborhood. It was very close to a metro stop which was nice for exploring other parts of the city. The breakfast was great and the room was clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Wi-Fi system is not practical. Everbody cannot use internet at the same time and in order to enter into wı-fi the other should log-off with an unpractical manner. So we cannot use it properly.

Location was ok. At about 5' of the centre. The room was nice and very clean.

The bathroom was a bit too small and the price was a bit too high.

The hotel is quite near the centre, only 5 min walking from Marienplatz The room was clean and big enough, the breakfast quite good.

The final present: small bottles of wine. Unfortunately we could not keep them with us, because of the flight. We could not kept them in our handluggage, due to airport rules and we did not wwant to put them in the luggage (in case of broken bottles, all the clothes would have been smell of wine for the rest of their life). Maybe some chocolate or candies would have been better presents

The location is excellent, very close to the Isartor S-bahn station, and a short walk to the main shopping areas and the historic city center.

Nit impressed by some of the front desk staff. When I checked in told me that I should use the parking garage next door. They did not mention that they had a €5.50 per day discount if I give my parking ticket to them to be stamped before paying. Admittedly the person in question seemed to speak hardly any English, but I understand German fairly well, and this wasn't stated in either language. When I checked out, the person at the desk was apologetic, but that doesn't get my €16.50 back. Careful if you get a triple room as the third bed is a roll-out cot, and isn't all that comfortable.

internet is not the extremely fast. shower is too small. but I do not think it should stop you for a short stay.

I liked the girls at the reception and in the dining room. They were always friendly.

Very expensive wifi - it was cheaper for me to add data-roaming to my iphone for the day and use it to provide my own hot-spot.

Excellent location is main and only advantage of this hotel. 3 minutes from Isartor metro station (direct connection to the airport) and 15 minutes by walk to Marienplatz. In all other aspects it is an average hotel with small clean rooms. Breakfast is very simple but ok for starting the day. Doesn't worth the money it costs.

The hotel is near tram line and though we were on the 6th floor it was very noisy. Not possible to sleep with open windows and even when windows are closed you still hear the trams at night.

The staff were pleasant and friendly,although at least one staff member was over-zealous, and the location is reasonable ,in that it is close to the public transport system.

As there is absolutely no climate control in this hotel,my room was like an oven from the time I walked in til when I left the hotel in disgust 2 days earlier than I had booked.48 hours of basting was more than enough.Apart from the Calcutta-like conditions in the room,the shower alcove was tiny and the shower didn't work - it sprayed water everywhere except on me.The mattress was so thin it needed to be admitted to hospital for anorexia.The breakfast is a sick joke - cold meat,stale bread,no toaster and that's it.When I requested a move to another room,the manageress was polite but said the hotel was full.The coup de grace was to find that a maid had ignored the "Do not disturb"sign and entered my room. In 12 years of travelling around the world,this is the first,and hopefully last,time this has happened.

clean and comfortable rooms

Only minutes walk to Marienplatz and the Victuallian Markt. Also extremely convenient to the direct S Bahn to the airport. The breakfast was very good.

There was no free wifi. The breakfast room was very small and crowded. The room was very hot, had no air-con, and noisy if the window is opened.

The staff was very helpful with all our requests. The parking garage is literally right next door! The location was great, a quick walk to the Marienplatz and the Hofbrauhaus. Would stay here again.

There is no a/c in the room but the staff did bring us up a fan which helped.

Too expensive: the equipment and service of a budget hotel for the price of a mid-range hotel.

The Hotel is 8 minutes walking from the main shopping street and Marienplatz. Easy to find and to go there by car. Perfect to visit the munich city.

Breakfast could be improved!!

It is really nice located it was easy to find it, with friendly employees. Nice breakfast.

It could be great to have free Wi-Fi there...4,5 Euro.. It's quite expensive in my mind
