Very nice place, in the center, and the bar is very usefull to meet people
The manager of the hostel let me check in two hours earlier than expected.
The wifi could not be reached to the rooms, only the lobby which was always crowded as it had not only people wanting to us the wifi but also people having a drink at the bar.
Stayed there for one night only - which I didn't sleep because had an early flight. But this is one really nice hostel that looks a lot like a hotel. Really nice bathroom, hallways in perfectly clean, friendly staff. Nothing to point out.
The neighborhood does not look so friendly.
Excellent location and very friendly staff.
Poor TV signal.
Location is good , for you need take train as it is next my station !
It is a hostel but not hotel , so never expect service there! Only rules! For the money you spent better find a real hotel!
Extremely useful location - 5 minutes from Hauptbahnhof, U,S-Bahn and ZOB. Also just about 15 minutes from the historical centre. Reception is working 24h, as well as wifi on the ground floor.
Rooms aren't large and weren't clean (perhaps a particular misfortune of mine). Windows open into the brightly-illuminated street. Seemed to be crowded in early Sept. Neighbourhood isn't nice either (think train station). Towels, lockers etc. all subject to extra fees.
It's well located and very clean. Its not a bargain but its not expensive either.
We went to a private bedromm. However travellers should know this is a hostel full of young people and it's located on a street full of others hostels so it gets really noisy. Also, the hostel has policies regarding noises but it's impossible to keep everyone quiet. On Friday sleeping was challenging.
The hostel is located near the Hauptbanhof, easy to go to Marienplatz from there. The 4-bedded room has an individual bathroom. It is possible to leave the luggage in a lock before the check-in or after the check-out.
The bar of the hostel is a little bit noisy depending on the day of the week and the amount of people there, but it finishes around 1a.m. The wi-fi does not work well in the bedrooms.
The Staff are great and the location near HBf
room is very small for 4 people and it need to be more clean
Convenience Intriguing ambiance Efficient staff Cleanliness
- location is absolutely brilliant - literally 2 minutes away from the Hbf - good WiFi signal - free bar drink at arrival! - free walking tour of Munich starting at the hostel - bar on the ground floor =) - very cool interior
- beds not excelent, but not too bad
Central location, happy hour, it is what it says it is.
Very noisy beds and they have nasty sweaty plastic under sheeting. Towels are poor quality seeing as you have to rent them.
We are family guests(2 adults and 2 children). It's a good location for travel in Munich. it's close to Hbf and 5 minutes walk. Linnen was so clean but...
The bed springs creaked and twanged because they are old. and i felt springs as if i carried it. when i checked in, floors was not clean. i asked it to staff 2 times, she didn't believe it. After showing pictures takend by me, she followed clean.. There was no refrigerator and tv in the room even though it's family room.
the location is really good. it is close to main train station. and we can go to city center by walk or train.
Close to train station
The staff who was in charge of that time when I checked in was not that kind. The hole of the sink in the bathroom was stuck but he only said "I am sorry about that". In addition, the bathroom was not that clear; some blond hairs on the wall and floor. 1 euro need to keep your luggage after check-out.
How you did not get WIFI in the rooms on floor 2
Room was large, with two sets of bunk beds, and clean. Breakfast was cheap but plenty of it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for money. Very convenient for station. Nice atmosphere in communal areas.
Immediate surrounding area not great, but not far from nicer parts. Rented towels a bit naff.
I liked that bathroom was in a room, the room was moreover furnished with lockers. Breakfast was great!
Well, not much to object - I left a message for one guest I wanted to stay in touch and it seems they did not deliver my message.
Everything except the wifi
the proximity to the train station
the water from the toilet trickles out into the room. The reception area is crowded and dirty.
-Location -Clean -Bar
-Bad Wifi, small connection speed, and authorization is complicated -Breakfast isn't free, though it costs ~5EURO -Beds are uncomfy to sleep on. I felt like my back is broken next day
The bar on the ground floor is good. wifi speed is not so fast but enough for ordinary using. The location is just near the main train station, very good. and the staffs are friendly.
Loved the location
A little noisy on the street at night....didn't like you had to rent towels
