Score from 4479 reviews Very good
This family-run hotel is in a quiet side street in the center of the city, just a 3-minute walk from Munich Main Train Station and Karlsplatz Square. Free Wi-Fi is included.
Score from 1827 reviews Very good
This hotel is a 15-minute walk from Munich’s Marienplatz square and the Theresienwiese Oktoberfest site. It is in a lively area right across from Munich Central Train Station.
Score from 975 reviews Good
Offering elegant rooms, broadband Internet access, and varied breakfast buffets, this 3-star hotel is just a short walk from the Oktoberfest site and a 10-minute walk from Munich Train Station.
Score from 521 reviews Good
The hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and the distance of the hotel to Munich Hbf was decent. The hotel was also a very good deal as far as price is.concerned. The surrounding hotels are well above its range.
The wifi connection isn't very good but nevertheless the good points of the hotel outweighs this feature.
location, food, price, service and attention to the requests.
the cleaning is not perfect, the heating has only ON/OFF position which coupled with the window makes it OK, yet one must keep the "noise" in mind in case it is a "street side"
Cordiality of the personnel, excellent breakfast
Furniture and decoration show a fair amount tear and wear. They are refurbishing part of the hotel. When they will have completed, sojourning at jedermann will be even more enjoyable
Very good location: 10 min to the central railway station, 20-30 min to Marienplatz. Also just near the entrance is the bus stop. The staff, the breakfast, the room...everything was amazing for such price.
It was a good hotel, breakfast was good. Room was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and appealing to be in. Only about 4-5 streets from train station. It was a good price for similar hotels in the area. It had numerous good reviews when I checked for My booking.
It wasn't a big problem by any means. But the area around the train station is a little rough with a lot of activity. Some people might not find this appealing. It caught my attention, but it wasn't a problem.
We arrive early in the morning and they allow us to have an early check-in which is highly appreciated. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is really good.
near Munich main station and Tram.
Room, wifi, location
This was our second stay in less than 6 months. The staff are fantastic, always so accommodating. Rooms are lovely & clean, with comfy beds. One of our favourite things about the Jedermann is the breakfast, it is simply wonderful! Such a huge selection and absolutely delicious The hotel is situated a 5 minute journey from the Marienplatz, and a short walk to the central train station. With a tram stop almost right outside the hotel the transport links couldn't be better. We will be staying at the Jedermann again very soon, it is a fantastic family run hotel, great value for money and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Munich.
Our stay was fantastic, we couldn't fault it in the slightest.
Great location (about 7-minute walk from train station), very friendly staff, excellent breakfast.
Staff were excellent .would recommend this hotel as staff extremely helpful in arrival with tips on local transport and when one of our party was unwell were so caring and helpful .
Hotel was simply a painless 5 minutes walk to the Central Station (Haufbhanof Munich), and even if you dont prefer walking-the hotel sells 'One Day Travel Pass' tickets, and you can take a Tram which is in front of the hotel. The same pass is applicable to both Metro and Tram, (just make sure you validate your ticket before you start your journey). Within a minute away, there is a convenient store, kebab shop (unfortunately closes at 8:30pm), and Augustiner Brau (a German bar/restaurant- I highliy recommend-try the Grilled Meats, its to die for, ofcourse the beers too!!!). We stayed at the hotel from the 25-11-2014 until the 29-11- 2014, and we enjoyed walking most of the time. Hotel is not new, but very clean and offers a wide selection for breakfast. I would definetely recommend this hotel. It is also 15min to Karlsplatz and 20min to Marianplatz by foot. For those of you who want to pick German produce/food on the last day of your trip (like myself) there is a local supermarket chain called 'rewe' there is one nearby the Haufbhanof Munich Station, The hotel can spot it on the map for you, and maps are provided from the hotel reception. Hope you get a chance to visit this hotel. &Quot;HAPPY TRAVELS"
Breakfast was great location v good. Room was clean and as described
Pillow was a bit soft for my liking
Convenience for EPO; 24/7 reception desk; always friendly; warm & dry
needs refurbishment; TV selection poor; beds could be comfier; rooms facing street are noisy
Needs a "makeover".
It is situated 10 minutes walking from Central Station (traines, bus to Munich airport, bus to Memmingen airport, Tourist Info office much less crowded than on Marienplatz, bus excursions starting here) and 10 minuts walking from the big field where Christmas market/Octoberfest celebrating is held. 20 minuts walk to Marienplatz. Good breakfast. Small chokolate Santa on my bed:)
little pillow. it looks big, but when you lay on it, it becomes very thin:(( Important for me, because I easily get headache because of uncomfortable pillows.
Reasonably located, close to train station and transport links.
Service was excellent. They were able to tell me where to go in Munich on Sunday and also transport options around. Breakfast spread is a surprise. Much better than the brand name hotels. Wide selection and very delicious
Carpets were worn out which makes walking a little cold.
the location, breakfast, the rennovated rooms.
the walls as well as the doors are not particulary sound proof. One may hear people "singing" in the corridor or taking shower in the adjecent room.
Family atmosphere. Ten minutes walk to downtown, 3minutes walk to main train station. Very safe area.
everything was good
On two easy tram routes to the Main Station and to the centre of the city. Very personable staff and an excellent breakfast. This is my second visit so you can see that I like it.
Nothing springs to mind.
We could walk easily down to the Marienplatz and other city sites. The street car was also right in front of the hotel. We were able to find the hotel easily from the autobahn and park our car in an underground garage just around the corner. Breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We had an economy room on the top floor. It was very dated and the bathroom needed some work. But the bed was comfortable and the internet worked great.
The staff was beyond excellent, very helping, they had answers to all your questions .. the best staff we have seen so far on our trip.
The hotel had some weird smell everywhere in public areas to the room. that's all otherwise a good hotel, for the price you pay with exceptional staff.
clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast.tram stop right in front and walking distance to central station and main attractions.
need better pillows.
