On two easy tram routes to the Main Station and to the centre of the city. Very personable staff and an excellent breakfast. This is my second visit so you can see that I like it.
Nothing springs to mind.
We could walk easily down to the Marienplatz and other city sites. The street car was also right in front of the hotel. We were able to find the hotel easily from the autobahn and park our car in an underground garage just around the corner. Breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We had an economy room on the top floor. It was very dated and the bathroom needed some work. But the bed was comfortable and the internet worked great.
The staff was beyond excellent, very helping, they had answers to all your questions .. the best staff we have seen so far on our trip.
The hotel had some weird smell everywhere in public areas to the room. that's all otherwise a good hotel, for the price you pay with exceptional staff.
clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast.tram stop right in front and walking distance to central station and main attractions.
need better pillows.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean room, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast.
Everything was ok
The area is quiet and has an amazing view of sunrise if you are staying in the back side of course. There were only 2 staff, one is the Manager and Owner and the Handy Man all in one. He is friendly and trying to maintain and improve the hotel business for many years.
Rate is the same as other hotel that has better amenities. The interior is very very old and almost has the musty smell of oldness that is not welcoming. Bathroom is super tiny, you could hardly move. I suggest that they change the bed, beddings and covers because for sure this has been there for almost 30 years now. There were also some old, used toilet soap left in the bathroom upon check in. With some improvements, hopefully the hotel can be more competitive.
Superb location; only 5 minutes walk from the Hauptbanhof and 10 minutes from the main shopping area. Clean, modern room and bathroom. Free, stable wifi signal. Delicious brekkie. Highly recommended.
Right on the tram line. Parking garage available
Located on the trainline. Girl at the counter spoke English and gave us lots of helpful information.
A bit outdated and the neighborhood wasn't the best.
Location, Breakfast's variety (but not the tables availability - poor), Cleanliness, AC (it was a surprise to know room is equipped with AC. It was not mentioned when I booked the hotel), in-room Wi-Fi
Quality of sleep (street noise, pillow), Size of room - too narrow for two single beds, Service at breakfast - Availability tables is a 'bottle neck'.
Location Breakfast Staff
Price Old fashion facilities Shared batroom
Close to so much and a wonderful breakfast
Expensive to book
Location, close to train station.
Our room could be updated like some of the other rooms. More English speaking TV stations.
Very good breakfest
Good value. Breakfast was quality and staff was friendly.
Breakfast was phenomenal - huge choice- Staff never tired of answering our never ending tourist transit questions! Great location - close to the train station and walkable to town--
Location and the excellent staff who were more than helpful. Good breakfast.
everything except the unstable wifi
The breakfast was really good. The games room was quite nice and there was plenty of tourist information. We had a shared bathroom and the toilets were those Japanese-style self cleaning types - pretty cool.
The hotel was not as advertised. The exterior of the building is in much worse condition than the photos show.
Breakfast included was a good deal. Breakfast was always delicious every morning. Rooms were simple but comforting. They had umbrellas to share throughout the day so that was nice.
Bulky keys. Always had to return it whenever i go out. The walls in the rooms weren't very clean.
Jedermann staff communicated well with us, answering queries, and suggesting an upgrade, prior to our visit. On arrival, staff suggested participation in a walking tour of Munich, and gave a map. We were very happy with the quiet room we'd requested. Breakfast was delicious, and ample. Staff were courteous and helpful. Would love to visit again.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I loved it so much that I added a few more nights at the end of my trip. When I got there after weeks of traveling throughout Germany, they felt like home. If I ever return to Munich, they are the first place I will make a reservation. They are located close to the main train station and are situated next to a tram station that is a straight shot anywhere anyone would wish to go in Munich. The walk from the hotel to Karlsplatz is no more than 10 mins.
Easy transport with tram stop outside. Excellent fresh breakfast. Helpful staff.
Lovely hotel, very convenient layout- near a tram stop 19, buyout covers the entire city center. Very tasty breakfasts. The room was overlooking the courtyard, so the room was quiet, but I think with the windows facing the street will be good, since the street is quiet. Maid service every day. There are Russian channels. When checking out, presented with a bottle of wine.
Lovely breakfast and clean rooms. Great hotel for first time vistor to Munich.
