Excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The Basel city tram is within 1,5 minute walking distance. Upon the information I got from the web I expected the hotel to be closer to the airport. Taxi costs (45 EUR arrival, 32 EUR departure) were above I expected. |

clean room, easy to find, good value for money, nice staff well... the location is not the best in terms of aura (i.e. there is a really weird hotel next to JFM). But nothing dangerous for sure. Because you just cross the borders, you expect something better from Germany and it is not that good in comparison to what is on the swiss side. I would not go there with my girlfriend for a romantic weekend, but I would go again there to explore Basel. |
