The staff were exceptionally rude and hostile to us from the beginning. We felt unwelcome as a group of 20 - 30 year old foreign visitors wanting to explore Leipzig and visit a nearby festival and we felt like we were given sub-standard service from the beginning. One of the couples were housed in a room which was already occupied and when they informed reception they were contradicted and treated as though it was their fault and not the hotel's! there were no apologies for the errors. The rooms were bleak and there was no air conditioning rendering the atmosphere stuffy and hot. The hotel was in fact quite a long way both from the bus station and from the event itself so a closer alternative would have been better and a smile or two on occasion would have helped!

Plus Points: Food was excellent, Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and bright. Minus Points: There was often a strong sewer smell in the room, but this was the same for a lot of Leipzig, no AC and wifi was un-usable in the room and not free.

I found the hotel staff to be very friendly -

We ended up staying for nealy 2 weeks as the hotel was near where we needed to be.The Hotel did not seem to have chairs that you could relax on. The seating was very functional but not great for unwinding.We had very long days and when we returned to the Hotel there was no where to relax unless you went to bed

Es ist relativ günstig in der Nähe des Leipziger Stadtzentrums gelegen. Für einen Leipzigaufenthalt gut geeignet. Ca 10 gehminuten bis zum stadtzentrum: wer lEIPZIG als stadt erleben möchte; kann dieses hotel bedenkenlos buchen:

Wir hatten darum gebeten, ein ruhiges Zimmer zum Innenhof hin zu bekommen, haben es auch erhalten und konnten daher ruhigen Schlaf ohne Straßenlärm genießen. Auch ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das mit 16 € pro Person recht teuere Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht - direkt neben dem Hotel findet sich eine Bäckerei, auf die man sehr gut ausweichen kann.

Schöner wäre es, wenn der Parkplatz nicht noch 10,50 € extra pro Übernachtung kosten würde...

Einchecken durch unmotiviertes Personal, Infos über Frühstückszeiten und Wellnessbereich wurden nur auf Nachfragen gegeben

Komfortabel, ruhig, alles funktioniert tip-top

Ein Hotel dieser Kategorie sollte ein kleines Schwimmbad haben. Im Ausland hat ein entsprechendes Hotel inzwischen immer kostenlosen Internetzugang über den eigenen Rechner.

Lage, sehr Ruhig für Innenstadt.

Zimmeraussattung 90er Jahre Stil.

In Summe ist das Mercure Leipzig schon in Ordnung, man bekommt erwartbare, gute Qualität. Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger. Abwicklung und Service sind insgesamt gut.

Es sind mehrere Details, die trotzdem keinen Spaß machen, und die einen überlegen lassen, nächstes Mal kein "Kettenhotel" zu wählen: 1. Kissen dünn bis nicht vorhanden 2. 2x schlecht geschlafen, subjektiv zuviele "Kunststoffanteile" in der Bettausstattung? 3. Überteuertes Frühstück (deswegen nicht gewählt!) Lage des Hotels: Für Musikinteressierte gut, für andere etwas zu sehr am Rand.

Die Lage war wie beschrieben gut. Das Personal freundlich

Hotel war in Odnung, Service Ok. Lage etwas ausserhalb der City, aber ín Laufweite. Insgesamt gut in Ordnung.
