Good average hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, ideally located to visit the city.

Our room was cleaned on departure day BEFORE we checked out. I wonder if between teh departure of the previous guests from our room and our arrival, someone checked it to be sure it was clean... Next to that, the bar is far overprized, especially as the quality of the drinks is far beneath standards!

It was not clear which items belonged to the Mini-bar. On cruise liners items in the room were complimentary. A collar attached to the mini-bar items stating price would have been helpful i.e. wine bottle, water bottle, Christmas chocolate.

Friendly Reception Staff, clean and tidy

Was a bit disappointed for various reasons. I had stayed here last year with no complaints, but this year, the bottom of the bed was broken, No Tea, Coffee or Sugar in room, We were watching a Video, (Geoff-Something or other and it stopped half way through and it would not start again. Did try and phone reception on the Room Phone but there was no number given to dial down, not good if there had been an emergency; so I had to use my mobile to phone the main Hotel Line and then the Guy didn't understand what I was trying to say. I thought the Waiting Staff were rather miserable!

There was no milk in the room for coffee, despite asking twice for some to be brought up.

Located right next to my customer location. Clean rooms. Room had a beautiful view of a pond and the Koln Dam Cathedral in the background.

Free internet advertised was so slow everything timed out before it could open. Paid for high speed internet...which did not work either. Hotel was nice enough to refund me...but what a bother!!! I stayed there because of the internet and business center. Business center advertised was also non existent.

Great staff and location. Really nice room and lovely bathroom.

Absolutely terrible internet!!!!! I travel 100000 miles a year for my work - Asia, us, Europe and Canada and this was the worst internet I have encountered. I am glad it was free. The poor staff- were really embarassed by it. I cannot reccommend this hotel until they fix the kinternet. Skype was impossible but so was my normal email from my work and family.

Everything fantastic only problem is an orrible noisy fan from bathroom. I also switched off the electric panel... But did not worked...

Breakfast 19 € is very very expensive...

Location in relation to attractions

The following of my luggages from the airport of Cologne to my room, the welcome of your employees at the reception. The kindness of a woman to print my thalys ticket when she had a lot of things to make at the same time. The patience of these people with my bad english!!! ;)

1 hour 15 mins for room service was unnacceptable. No appolgy from staff either. It was only a pizza and chips. Breakfast needs to be better for the price. Poor selection of fresh fruit and bread. Option of more than filter coffee needs to be available for the 19.99 Euros price. Seating was also cramped. The facilities listed on Booking.com for the room type differed from what the room actually was. The hotel told me that was booking.com's issue not there's and the fact that I had no armchair was booking.com's error.

hilfreiches Personal, das sofort anderes Zimmer gab, wo sich die Klimaanlage nicht so negativ auswirkte. Bei Zimmer zum Mediapark ausgesprochene Ruhe.

Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Grosses Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Möglichkeit eine raucher Zimmer zu bekommen

Der Teppich war sehr alt und nicht sehr appetitlich zum anschauen. Altmodische Fernseher, kein Flachbilschirm. Prei 19 Euros für das Frühstück zu hoch.

Frühstück viel zu teuer. Preise in München um die 15 EUR! Rechnung war falsch (zuviel gebucht!)

Dass meine Mastercard nicht akzeptiert wurde. Die Kartenfirma konnte keine Anfrage ihres Hotels finden, Die Karte war voll funktiontüchtig. Es ist unfair einen Gast unnötig in eine so unangenehme Situation zu bringen, nur weil das Lesegerät nicht funktioniert. Gerhard Probst.

Dusche defeckt. Auch nach Reklamation am Nachmittag keine Reparatur für den nächsten Morgen; auch keine Ersatzzimmer.
