Good hostel, clean, next to the center, very good breakfast))

it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. Its across the river so to go to the city centre it's a 15 minute walk across the bridge. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some bars but in general its a quiet area. There is also a small train station across the road if you don't feel like walking to the city centre.

the staff were efficient but not very friendly. The atmosphere in general was very formal and impersonal. If you're looking for a fun hostel to meet other younger travelers then this is NOT the place. Its more suitable for groups of younger kids (scouts, football teams etc.), families and couples. Check out is at 10am and they are quite strict.

The position is good: near the bridge, and the railway station(the next station of the Cologne main station) is just on the opposite side. The water is good. The breakfast is good.

The wifi didn't work on that day. You have to change the cover of the bed by yourself. The staff is not very welcoming.

1.No free wifi. You need to pay 1.50 euros for an hour even you pay 33 euros for the room per night. It is totally not acceptable. When I asked the staff why there is no free wifi, she answered that the control of the door is difficult. Many who are not residents could enter the hostel. What reason is it!! Can't you guys working in the hostel control the entrance of the hostel? Or provide pin number to the residents for free? And she even answered that there is a mcDonald nearby with free wifi. Does the hostel own McDonald? Do you know Wifi is extremely important for travellers? 2.They don't make bed for you. And the sheet is not in the room when you check in. 3.The room is very small for 4 people. 4-bed room with only 2 chairs. Crowded.

Excelent location, nice&clean room, good breakfast and free privat parking.

the wifi is only in the hall and you have to pay for it (€ 1.50/hour) in relation to the price ( i mean the twin room) the interiors were really basic and so the breakfast area that is more a school canteen

You have to pay for everything extra.. towels, wi-fi, a little bit excessive.

Well adapted for our needs, clean, comfortable. Good shower/toilet. Easy access to city. Reception staff (mostly) very helpful. Overall, visit enhanced our visit to Koln.

Food and food service was average at breakfast; compensated for by some good restaurants locally. Children 9-13 (not young people) playing with elevators.

The location was excelent and the staff as well :)

Free (and delicious!) breakfast is an excellent way to start your day, and it location - opposite one of Cologne's main train stations and a 3-min walk from a Metro stop - makes it perfect for getting about the city.

Very few power points in the rooms, making it difficult to charge devices.

Basic, clean, fine hostel, excellent location one stop away from the main train station. Very decent breakfast considering the price. Rooms were basic but clean, comfortable, shower and toilet in each room.

Went there to attend GDC, the hostel is really close to the location of the conferences and almost all my roommates were attending it as well, which was great. Didn't spend many time in the hostel, but it looked clean and the rooms were spacious.

I liked the breakfast and enjoyed the atmosphere. Jugendherberge is more like a hotel than a typical youth hostel to me, so it's a good value for money.

The check-out hour is too early. It was too hot in my room, I only had German programmes on the tv and the Internet services are paid.

Very close to Koelmesse, 5 min on foot. Good cleanliness.

Paid around 100 euro per night, but no soap in the bathroom. I had to buy it at the front desk!

酒店离火车站较近，但要注意是离dutz站近而不是koln hbf，否则要过桥走很久路才能到
