The staff, the area, the breakfast was very good abpnd the two italian restaurants nearby. We recommend and will come back.
The room is a little bit small - take the larger one. The decor is old fashion european style.
Friendly staff, near underground station, clean,
1) Great staff! Very friendly, professional, quick and cheerful. Really appreciate that! 2) Nice location, especially if your room faced to the small park - I slept very good!
1) Price slightly higher than it should be on my view. 2) WiFi provided for free for only one device. Second is payable. Referring to 1) - this is not good.
3rd time there. Nice little hotel, convenient location, nice staff and good breakfast.
Wifi only for a single device.
excellent location comfort room good wifi
Super cute hotel in a great location to have more of a local experience of Berlin. Quick walk to a subway station to reach other main stations for all the sightseeing spots, but not possible to walk to most of those from the hotel. Very safe area, very quiet and tons of amazing restaurants, nice bars and cafe. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Grocery store and bank within a block. Definitely recommend getting the Berlin Welcome Card. You can get it at the hotel and it's completely worth it. We didn't mind having to take subway everywhere because being able to sleep and eat away from all the tourist spots and be around more local people was amazing.
Pillows didn't offer good support to head and neck, they sunk in completely. The wifi also didn't connect automatically even if you chose to save login, so it was annoying having to connect every time with login and password and it dropped randomly.
the location is very close to metro and alexander platz/roza luxemburg the great quietness of the rooms Food is very tasty Very friendly guys on reception:-)*bow*
wifi was broken all the week we stay in the stuff in a kitchen was not so friendly to not german speakers :( there was ONLY a shower :(
Exelent breakfast:), good placement.
Location, the lobby was tidy, the courtyard was very pleasant as was the breakfast room looking into the garden.
The member of the team who greeted me wasn't very friendly. When I had trouble getting into the room (No: 31) the key would not open the door to the room - it had to be "jiggled" in order to work the lock. There was no apology, no effort to fix the lock or to offer another room. The coffee was foul, like muddy water - YUK! Whilst one could have scrambled eggs, for example no offer was made whether one would like a hot breakfast. Whilst the Hotel offered free WIFI one had to ask for it and had to fill out a form!
The front desk helped us with directions and travel info around Berlin. We could buy city travel tickets there for the bus, tram, U.
It was somewhat noisy at nights with street noise and our windows open. We did not get the 14 Euro breakfast. We walked to nearby cafés.
We would recommend a room facing the garden: slightly more expensive but quieter and with a wonderful view on the trees. Very good location between Mitte and Prenzlauerberg, the neighborhood is very pleasant.
Expensive breakfast, we decided not to have it at the hotel.
Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Bike rental for 10 euro per day is next door. Room was clean and up to date. The maid even folded my shirt when she did the room
No safe in room. It's possible to be locked in the room if someone leaves and uses the key to lock the door(my daughter did this). 18 euro is too much for breakfast but I never pay more than 10 so I am cheap that way
Good location, easy access to U bahn, clean, light and comfortable rooms, friendly serivce.
This hotel was easy to reach via public transit. There were several restaurants within 2 blocks walk and many others including the Prater Beer Garden within a short tram ride. We liked having the little balcony with a view of the Television Tower, had a full moon while we were there and it was really pretty.
Everything about the place was brilliant
Bed was very comfortable. Balcony views out of this world. Location and help at desk for an American in Germany- priceless. Off street parking a bonus
Comfortable beds. Good location, close to a U-bahn station, 20 minutes walk from the Mitte center. Helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Pay attention to the height of your car if you'd like to use their garage. And make sure to reserve a place. (They do also provide a discounted ticket for street parking).
Hotel has excellent location. Service was excellent - as Berlin is a difficult city to get around, the staff was very, very helpful giving guidance on which public transport to use to get to my places of interest. Their morning breakfast was also superb!
The only negative is that the room I was placed in was very, very hot. It was on the top floor facing the sun. To put things in perspective, I broke out into a sweat brushing my teeth in the morning, and a candy bar in my suitcase completely melted. Thus, summer travelers are advised to ask about their room placement at the time of booking. Other than this, though, I would give the hotel 5 stars and I highly recommend. I plan to stay there on my next visit to Berlin later this Fall (when things cool down a bit :-)
Great location, in the epicenter of a lovely neighborhood with great food and beverage options. A short walk from many great historic attractions. Great service, very clean. We will be back!
The view from the room is wonderful. The breakfast room and garden are lovely. The location is superb.
the staff is not exactly unfriendly but they certainly did not make me feel at home. They are very matter-of-factly - perhaps just normal Berlin. They also charged be around 6 euros for a cup of tee in the evening (without telling the price in advance).
The location is excellent even if you plan to walk or get the metro.
Good location, the hotel was within a walking distance from the restaurants and bars in Prenzlauer Berg and from Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt. Also good connections with public transport. The room was a bit outdated, but well kept and very clean.
The wifi didn't work in the room.
The location was good easy acess to U Bann
We had a triple room which was too small and too stuffy for three people. It was a double room with a sofa bed.
Hotel is perfectly located - it´s nice, clean and quiet and the staff is very professional...
