Hotel is easy to find, with quite secure parking (not guarded). We arrived very late, so there was no time to explore surroundings. Room was ok, spacious and clean. Very good breakfast, plenty of choices and good quality food.

At checkin it turned out that somebody messed up the reservation. Even the names were wrong. We had reservation for one double - comfort room and one twin, both with smoking preference. All of that got ignored and we got two twin rooms, none of which was smoking. Staff (young man) didn't see any problem with that and had no solution whatsoever. Actually he didn't even said he is sorry. Another problem was the noise, acoustic isolation is quite bad, especially from the outside. I was pretty tired, but still I heard trams on the streets, rumbling every 10-20 minutes.

Had a wonderful short stay at this hotel , I was traveling with my elderly mom and dad , my sister joined us from France . This hotel is clean , the house keeping did a great job , the restaurant is excellent compared to Novotel 4 stars business hotel in Berlin . I would very much recommend it to any visitor to Karlsruhe . I'm looking forward to re visit with my family .

Connections to the main station as well as shopping. I was visiting a friend and were close by. There were plenty of restaurants and a nice park to see. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is one of the few places, where the staff has asked an gave me an internet key at check-in so I did not have to return to ask for the information later.

This place is not for everyone only because of the train noise all day, all night. I asked for a quiet room, which was on the 1st floor, but the courtyard side. However, I can still hear the rumble of the trains which runs all day and night. However, although I'm a light sleeper, train noises don't bother me, I slept very well.

Breakfast was fabulous. The room was great and clean. Staff was very helpful!

Location is excellent, staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was great, room was quiet.

Lot's of stuff in our room was broken: The bathroom door handle kept falling off, the safe code wouldn't reset, the bedside light switch was shorting and the door wouldn't lock correctly. Also, we were surprised there was no kettle in the room.

What a great hotel ! Being in the centre of town allowed us to walk everywhere ! This hotel has outstanding customer service and offers you all the "little things" which used to be normal in a good hotel. From the good night chocolat on the pillow to a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. If you are looking for a classic hotel within walking distance to everything then this is it !!

Disappointing and frustrating to be turned away at the hotel restaurant in the evening at about 20hrs, even though I could see that it was half empty and remained so till closure.

I chose the hotel because it has a gym and I was pleased with the amount of equipment there and the fact that the gym was open 24 hours. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of variety and good quality food. The staff on the front desk were absolutely excellent - really friendly and helpful.

Ideally would have liked the faclity to make hot drinks in my room but it's a very small point compared to all the good things.

The fact that we had a courtesy tray- normally unheard of on the continent- and something I've never seen before -the contents of the mini bar at our disposal free of charge!

Location, very central with their own car parking facilities. The staff all spoke good English and provided very good local information and restaurant recommendations.

Because of it's central location local Trams run just outside the hotel. Our room was 308 was on the upper floor, tram noise was audible but not an issue. However, if you are a light sleeper noise could be a problem. Request a room towards the rear of the hotel.

The centre place it is located, wifi for free, phones calls to several countries for free, sauna for free, employees are very friendly and available to help.
