no lift, expensive internet,
Great location - close to subway stop and easy to walk to museums and across the bridge into the city center. The friendliest and most helpful owners we encountered on our entire Europe trip! (10 cities, 3 weeks) Room was spacious. Almost everything in Europe is 2 twin beds pushed together but what made this hotel difference was their twin beds fit into an actual wood bed frame so we didn't end up rolling away from each other during the night.
No lift BUT the owners carried our luggage up and down without us even having to ask so it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was good but nothing special as we had many other breakfasts throughout the trip that were better. No hot items like eggs/sausage.
The staff and location are outstanding. The breakfast is great and all you need in the morning to get started.
I think the bedding and mattress could use some upgrading. Of course as a couple from the west the wife never liked the crack in the middle of the European mattress. Lol
staff was very friendly, the location is great, rooms are spacious and clean.
no lift. wasn't a big problem for us as it was a short stay, but for the future visits we'll keep this in mind. expensive internet (ca. 5 euro per 24 hours) and it didn;t allow us to share it with other devices via mobile hotspot.
Friendly reception Central location
Shower(head) too low Bed too short
Direct tram to Messe. Spacious room. Helpful and friendly reception. Nice area with cafe and a Muller shop. Wine shop with good selection next door, part of hotel.
No lifts but that was informed before booking. No free internet.
Close to where we wanted to go.
Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Directions around city and to restaurants were excellent.
The lack of parking.
- the friendliness of the staff -my room was very quiet (backsite of the building) - the good location near the Opera, the museums (Städele....), the Main and the old part of the city.
Everything was okay except that you have to spend money for the W-Lan and have to register - however this is understandable for a 3 Star Hotel.
The location in Schweizer Platz is very nice. It is convenient to the subway, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also very accessible to the old town and shopping districts of Frankfurt. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and well stocked, and quiet. I'm not used to leaving a key at the front desk, but the staff made me feel very welcome to come and go as I pleased. I would recommend this hotel, and I will certainly stay again the next time I go to Frankfurt.
The only negative about this hotel is the lack of elevator. But it is really no problem except maybe when you first arrive with luggage and are tired from travel.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the counter staff are willing to answer questions. Although one of the staffs can't speak English, but still were very enthusiastic to provide assistance. Besides, there's a train station nearby.
No lift for baggage
The location is top-notch, just near everything you can think of and I mean every single thing. The room was big, clean, very neat and bright. The bathroom was also clean and vey neat. I can see myself staying year again.
There was no hotel parking, but it wasn't a problem because I stayed only one night. Parking garage is nearby which cost me €24 for about 27 hours stay, which wasn't bad at all. But if one is going to stay longer, them it might not be wise to use these garages.
I was learning German and the staff Was most encouraging.
Didn't mind stairs but didn't like Carrying LUGGAGE up 4 Flights of stairs!
Hotel is in really great location - safe area and literally one minute from tram and underground. Only few minutes journey to city centre.Lots of cafés and shops nearby. Staff are very helpful. Our room was immaculate, plenty of space in family room. We didn't eat in the hotel - breakfast is extra 10 euro per head. Lots of great local bakeries for croissants & coffee. Would def recommend for families
Great Location, easy access to many places and also proximity to many tourist attractions. Nice owners, always smiling. Make you feel welcome. Gave us all the info and more very helpfully. Very clean and tidy. I will most probably prefer this hotel the next time if they confirm a room on the lower floors.
No elevator, so carrying your luggage up, if you are on a long travel can be painful. So check that aspect before you confirm the booking. Rooms on the higher floors can be a real pain. Rooms are small and barebone for the price. Not enough sockets, given the number of gadgets that one carries today. Should atleast include a coffee maker in every room.
Excellent location for the Messe and for the city centre. Very friendly staff. We changed our reservation at the last moment and they didn't charge us for this.(They managed to resell the room by booking.com)
No free wi-fi. Not only in the hotel...everywhere in Frankfurt ...at the coffee shops, at the restaurants..
Excellent location for leisure and business .
Good location for the Messe. 50mts from the tram. Friendly staff. Missed breakfast one day, although prebooked, they didn't charge me for it.
No free wifi. No elevator
The location is quite good, and everything is just good. The room is quite spacious and clean although I am not very fond of the fitted carpet you will find in the rooms. Fair quality/price relationship.
Basic hotel but nice and family run hotel. There is no lift, basic furniture, thin doors. Breakfast not included in the price (it costs 10€).
Nice hotel., friendly and helpful staff, good location, calm neighborhood, very close to subway just across the road.
No free wifi...no lift...
A comfortable room, clean and well presented, with a good shower/bathroom. Fab flatscreen tv. Very fast internet wifi connection over the Telekom-Hotspot (only 4,95 for 24 hours if you are not a Telekom customer). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked the handwritten bill on checkout - nice change from computer print out! Some nice cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Despite being in Sachsenhausen it is only a 5 minute walk over the river to Willy Brandt Platz, Opera & Schauspielhaus, and the beginning of the main commercial & shopping area.
Bed was comfortable but made me sweat a bit - maybe there was some plastic sheeting over the mattress?
Big rooms and nice staff. Very nice neighborhood.
The breakfast is not worth 10 euros, better off to eat in café. No free internet.
a quality, clean and spacious hotel in a nice neighbourhood at a fair price
parking space is a bit harder to find (though not impossible)
