Kauzenburg mit Landhotel  

Quiet place, nice location,anice walk to the restaurant and town, much shopping in the town,good restaurants on grounds and in town

We would have liked a radio and a clock in the room

This is a great hotel located high on a hill overlooking the city of Bad Kreuznach. I was worried about staying here as that none of the hotels are rated very well in this city, but it was the best hotel we stayed at by far on our entire trip! Our rooms were large and clean with a very nice size tv and very comfortable pillows and mattress. While the hotel's restaurant is not actually on the premises, it's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and not at all a problem for us. We ate there for lunch and dinner and while the prices might be a bit higher than some other locations, the food was very good! The included breakfast, however, is in the hotel and was excellent. This is a full breakfast with eggs. Meats, cheese, cereal etc. I was impressed to find that they had free WIFI...this was the only place that had this included!! I thought that the staff was pretty good. My only complaint was that when we needed a wake up call at 6am, we were told that staff did not get in until 6:30am. In the end, the staff did come in early and called us at 6am, but that would not be acceptable to me in a room that has no alarm clock.

See above...my one complaint is not having staff available at all times for wake up calls.

No staff after lunch on Sunday no wi fi the last 3days because of thunder I hate to think what had happened prior to this

Cozy atmosphere, quaint rooms, walk to the downtown area through a forest. Secluded from traffic noise and a vineyard and castle restaurant down the road.

This hotel was very comfortable with large clean rooms, and the staff very polite and helpfull

The glass shower screen is located in a manner that you cannot open or close it fully, this makes getting in and out the bath or shower almost impossible and I think dangerous. The resturant and bar is closed from Sunday dinner and after 9pm on an evening the reception is not manned. The mini bar in the room is empty and only filled on request but as there is no staff and no bar and no resturant, this cannot be done, so no refreshments. Over all a nice hotel but check what facilities are available during your stay or you pay a high price for bare bed and breakfast!

Wir waren mit dem Service zufrieden, aber einen Kritikpunkt möchten wir nicht unerwähnt lassen. Obwohl wir die Komfort-Kategorie gewählt hatten, waren wir von den Ausmaßen des Baderaumes sehr überrascht. Gemessen an der Zimmergröße stand der winzige Raum in keinem Verhältnis. Wir dachten die bessere Kategorie beinhaltet mehr Badfläche.Was sonst begründet die Mehrkosten? Wir wären für weniger Zimmer - mehr Bad, sehr dankbar gewesen. Wir möchten auch nicht versäumen, darauf hinzuweisen, dass es zwischenzeitlich sehr gute Mittel zur Schimmelbeseitigung gibt. Wir können den Unterschied zwischen Kritik und Beschwerde nicht direkt unterscheiden, bitte haben Sie dafür Verständnis.

Die Lage war sehr schön, jedoch der Weg dorthin etwas duster und unheimlich

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in traumhafter Lage über Bad Kreuznach gelegen. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein reichhaltiges Buffet.

Wifi functioneerde niet.

Das Landhotel Kauzenburg ist von seiner Lage und Ausstattung sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, sehr schöner Landhausstil. Die Zimmer sind absolut ruhig, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Um in die Stadt Bad Kreuznach zu kommen, muss man allerdings gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man sein Auto stehen lassen will, denn der Weg zum Hotel zurück ist recht steil.

Die Zimmergröße ist sehr unterschiedlich. Wir hatten drei Zimmer gebucht, von denen eins sehr schön groß war, eins mittelgroß (beide Komfortzimmer), und ein Zimmer sehr klein, mit viel Schräge und kleiner Dachgaube (Standard). Dafür ist der Preisunterschied von Komfort- zu Standardzimmern zu gering.

Mooie omgeving met even verderop een prachtig restaurant op de fundamenten van kasteel Kauzenburg en schitterend uitzicht over Bad Kreuznach.

Geen lift, trappen lopen. Bagage werd wel naar boven gebracht.
