Every things was great ...
Location, decor, history, attentive and helpful staff.
A luxury hotel like no other. Everything was perfect. Old and charming style.
Too luxury for me.
Location far from shopping area
I loved the quiet rooms and the room itself.
I found the front desk very in formula with there city and help as was concierge . they were generally not interested in helping.. wi if was pathetic for a hotel of this standard.
first time after their renovation that we have been back. rooms are excellent , staff and service very good and efficient.
its a bit 'stiff' and formal, but to be fair that would be what the Atlantic stands for
The location next to a pretty lake is excellent. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. The hotel appears newly renovated. Lunch in the outdoor atrium was very pleasant.
I stayed at this hotel in early August. It was extremely warm in the city. I chose a 5-star hotel because I expected modern airconditioning. Instead, it was extremely warm inside the hotel. The room was a little better, but it was still not terribly refreshing. Other than that, everything was very nice.
Lovely staff in a wonderful hotel with excellent food. My son and I watched Germany win the World Cup while dining in the restaurant, what more can I say, perfect.
The hotel itself is superb and befits a five star rating. It really is good. The room I had was large and thus spacious. The internet for all nights except one (I stayed five nights) was excellent and this was the basic rate. The "premium" internet at around 19 Euros a day was slower than the basic package which comes for nothing.
There were three issues: 1. I was in room 167 and the room overhangs the courtyard. The first night I had a lot of noise coming into the room even though the doors to the miniture balcony were doubleglazed. I then realized the doors were not closed properly and so called maintenance. They "fixed" it but for the rest of the week I had noise until 11pm-11.30pm and then early morning because the doors remained unsealed to a point. 2. I put a "Do Not Disturb" sign outside my door when I had to catch up on sleep from considerable long haul travel. Within half an hour of doing this, there was considerable knocking on the door so that the minibar could be checked, I pointed out the sign and the woman just asked if I had used anything! To bed I went to sleep and hearing noise in the subconcious woke up to find a bellboy walking around the room. I asked him what he thought he was doing and he said looking for missing luggage!! Two people have since suggested he was looking to make my luggage missing!! I protested at his presence - I was only in underwear and then wondered what would happen if he had done this and a woman was in bed by herself or getting out of the shower?? In the Middle East this would surely introduce police action in most cases. 3. Two days later a bellboy arrived at the door and insisted on trying to deliver a baby stroller and two suitcases to the room. I advised I had checked in two days earlier and these items were mine. He told me this was the room they were to be delivered to and this was done in a non-negotiating manner. After more dialogue, such as "no way will those items be left here", only did he realize that a mistake must have been made. I have discussed this with the hotel -soon after each occurance and then on checkout plus in a private review three days ago - but I do not think they either care or understand the seriousness of at least one of these matters!
This is really a 5 star hotel. The breakfast is absolutely perfect.
The bed is far too soft. Only the most expensive rooms are offering view to the lake, the basic room's windows are opening to an unfriendly and somewhat noisy courtyard. The prices of the attached services (coffee in the bar, minibar) are painfully high.
Elegant hotel, slightly old fashioned in a very charming way. Very nice and professional staff. Comfortable room with beautiful view of the lake. Amazing 5 courses menu with very well chosen wines at the hotel's restaurant. Pricey but worth the spending ! My wife and I will return in this hotel for longer than one single night as soon as we can, so as to be able to experience the pool, spa and other facilities. We really recommend this hotel for a classic romantic getaway.
Quite noisy motorway under the window, just before the lake. Basic (free) wifi is really slow. Premium speed should be complimentary in this kind of hotels.
Loved everything about Kimpinski, fantastic...
Piano an in the bar every evening was brilliant
Sometimes the service in the bar was poor !
Mostly this ticks the boxes that a prestigious five-star hotel should tick. Generally staff were pleasant and helpful and meals were very good. A good location: on the one hand walking distance from the main station and on the other right by the Lake.
The big negative for me was that my room had only a shower and not a bath. An unpleasant surprise and definitley not what I expect of a five-star hotel.
Location and nautical theme
Had to move from room allocated because of very noisy air conditioning unit. Given new room but bathroom lights not working.
Room keys ( big, heavy, smelly, and have to ask for them every time you leave the hotel because there is no way to take them with you ) . Prefer to have internal door lock ( door chair or limiter )make me feel safer and have some privacy
all of it was good
Need another grab bar to assist. In getting out of vvery deep bath tub.
Lovely hotel. Great location.
Better hair dryer with diffuser
very helpful staff, great location and atmosphere, excellent restaurant old elegant style, fantastic outdoor terrasse in the atrium
Room floor looks old
Location and very spacious room
They should add some more arabic tv channels
I liked all, especially The hospitality of The personel
Prices are so high
Friendly in a nice way, not to much and caretaking. Like it
Nothing I dont like, booked again for next visit.
