The staff and facilities were excellent. The food was and dining facilities were good. We stayed during a time it rained constantly but were able to use both the internal facilities and good restaurants close by so our stay was unaffected.
The room had two single beds - I ordered a kingsize and the mattress topper they provided wasn't the same. Some difficulty with the free internet provided so budget for buying the hi-speed service. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room should be standard but are apparently not common in German hotels.
We Had a delightfull visit to Berlin,It was enhanced by an excellent stay at the Bristol Kempinsky>The location is excellent & staff were first class>Speccial commendation to the Concierge dept.who were exceptional in their assistance>We look forward to our next visit> (last but not least it was gr8 value) Berlin is not the most beautiful city, but makes up for it with it's vitality & gr8 Museums/Restuarants & places of interest>>
The Airport arrival (Schoenfeld) Is not to expected standards>However this did not alter our favourable opinion of Berlin.
Easy to get to from Tegal airport. Great location. Staff speak excellent English and very helpful.
Shouldn't have to pay for wi fi in a 5* hotel.
Great size room, large bathroom with fabulous deep and long bath, slippers and robe. Comfy memory foam mattress and pillows - 2 wondeful nights of sleep. Love the touches of 20's Art Deco with beautiful classical figurines on display in glass cases in my room. Staff are attentive and friendly in just the right amount. Definitely stay there again.
Nothing not to like!!
The style and service are perfect.
One has the sense that a makeover is almost due -- things are getting a little tired. I resent paying (particularly so much) for internet -- it really should be free!
we had booked a superior room and having read mixed reviews on the hotel I was very please with the room
twin beds in our room rather than double/king. Was shown a room with a king bed having asked about the possibility of moving. Room wasn't as nice so stayed where we were.
menu to restaurant
Good location, very comfortable, exceptionally clean and orderly, caring staff willing to provide whatever assistance is required.
Breakfast is good, but need to be re-evaluated. Perhaps more fruit variety.
Access to wifi was very poor. I had to login every 30 minutes for low speed wifi. If you are on a business trip and internet is something you rely on the most in a hotel, this is not a hotel for you.
Great staff, extremely helpful, and always smiling.
Just keep doing what makes you so seccessful.
Hotel needs renovation especially the pool area
The location is excellent, right on a major shopping street and very close to major tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast location and food is very good. The four and half stars were because the only staff problem we saw was when we asked the concierge for restaurant recommendations and he would not give us a name - simply pointing us at restaurant areas instead.
The hotel costs about $400 per night. For that you get 1970's decor in the rooms although the bathroom was quite modern. The junior suite had two single beds rolled together to make up a 'double' bed. All night long you could hear the plumbing operating in the walls, presumably from people flushing their toilets. The non-paid wifi was a waste of time and the paid wifi was expensive although I never managed to actually work out how to log on. When we chose to move out three days into a five day stay they still insisted on charging us 90% of the fee for the last two nights. All done very politely. What you have is good staff working with a poor product and you are paying for the location, not the quality of the hotel. You're better off going 100m around the corner on the main road to a boutique hotel at the same price, which is genuine five star quality.
The area !
I missed a waterboiler for my very early coffe. A hotel in this price category should really offer their guest to have a good hot coffe or tea in the room. Roomservice rarely offers hot coffe :-)
good location on the Kurfurstendamm, which is one of the main shopping locations.
they tried to cheat us by paying. The were drinks from the minibar added to our invoice, which we havent consumed at all. I pointed this after looking at the bill and the receptionist errated these additional costs from the bill without any hesitation, which confirmed the fact, they are just trying to cheat and add additional payment to those who are not vigilant enought. So be prepared to check the autenticity of the bill!!!
In 2014, I can't understand why it should cost 20 Euro a day for WiFi.
The Hotel and Staff were awesome. If you are traveling from the USA you will have no problems communicating. This area of Berlin is a great downtown shopping area and you are not far from beautiful parks and other local attractions.
Cost of Breakfast
Friendly staff really try to help. Lovely room.
The position of hotel, servis, space of rooms
Furnuture of rooms,very bad,
Free wi-fi session only 30 min
i had a problem with the shower mixer, and had a cold shower for one morning that was very disturbing. It was immediately repaired.
The Concierge and Staff were very helpful.
!1. I was surprised to see no tea/ coffee service arrangement in the room. Although on our request a Tea Kettle and cups etc were provided, but with Tea bags/ Coffe Sachets. I wander why this decision by the hotel, when all over the world even in smaller 3 star hotels the same is a Standard item.
Spacey rooms and bathroom. Location is excellent, right in the middle of one of the main shopping districts of Berlin. Staff was friendly and happy to make restaurant reservations and give insider tips regarding touristic spots.
Free internet is slow and required re-login every 30 minutes. Bed and covers are too warm (for the summer at least). Breakfast is too expensive.
Excellent location, very polite and always ready to help staff.
