Great atmosphere, easy to get there by train, perfect location for the eastern Berlin attractions. Very clean place, nice and friendly staff in the reception. Will be back some day.

This hotel was brilliant in terms of location and things to do. For me, I was working at the o2 World Arena for an event and it only took me five minutes to walk there. I liked the fact that many bars and restaurants were also within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. Staff were great as well. They were polite and spoke English perfectly.

Even though I got a good night sleep eventually; the beds were hard and there was one pillow which wasn't in honesty a pillow, more like a small cushion. But that was easily ignored.

The Location is excellent for both Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg and also the rail link into the city. The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. This hotel is excellent value!

I am in a lot of hotels annually - I have no complaints with this one!

Glasses of 0.1 liters for water and juice, way too small the blankets material don't let your body to breather, you heat up very fast and sweat alot

No air conditioning. Coming from Texas, I didn't even think to look for air conditioning in a hotel. We actually chose this hotel over another that our friends were staying in, and it was slightly more expensive. Our friends' hotel had AC, ours did not.

Clean tidy hotel with nice staff. Close to the train station and about half hour walk to alexander platz. Not luxury but perfectly fine and good value for money. We had a superior room with air con - a must have in august - it was hot in Berlin! We didn't have breakfast or any meals at the hotel but it looked nice enough. Being in the poorer end of town in east berlin, the local area looks a bit rough when you first arrive. There is graffit everywhere and lots of pierced people with pink hair but you quickly realise that its perfectly safe and friendly - just a bit of post communist shabby chic. Bed was very firm - fine for me but some people might find it a bit too firm. Overall a very nice stay.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No english speaking tv channels.

The Hotel staff were excellent in all their duties,they were very courteous and very helpful to any quieries that I had.The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of food.The location of the Hotel was superb as it was close to the s and u Bahn and also there was a great range of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. I actually emailed the Manager to pass on my compliments.

It was close to the s Bahn station for central Berlin; close to the river clubs and bars; close to the graffied remnants of the Berlin wall and very close to the colourful bars and restaurants of Friedrichschein.

Friendly staff. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Location is a 5 minute walk from S-Bahn station. Suited my meetings in the area.

The double bed in the room I stayed in (room311) was too firm to the point of being almost hard. Breakfast was disappointing in terms of hot food selection but otherwise good choice and quality. Coffee was great!
