Edificato nel 742, il Kloster Hornbach, che un tempo fu un monastero benedettino, conserva tuttora uno splendore mistico e un fascino storico, combinati sapientemente ed elementi contemporanei. Le alte mura e i meravigliosi archi con volte a crociera si sposano perfettamente con l'ampia scalinata ovale e con il foyer, costruiti in vetro e acciaio. Le eleganti camere sono state ideate per riflettere la tradizione secolare e cosmopolita del monastero. Il Kloster Hornbach vi offre, per il vostro relax e il vostro benessere, 3 ristoranti e la piccola zona benessere BadeLust, graziosamente arredata. L'atmosfera unica dell'hotel vi consente di dimenticare per un istante le preoccupazioni quotidiane, regalandovi l'atmosfera perfetta per una vacanza come per intense giornate di lavoro. Perfect place for tranquility with outstanding service, very friendly and helpful staff and superb rooms This hotel is fabulous and of very high standard. Food is excellent. I have been fascinated by the beauty of this monastery. This place is so different and if you want to stay in style, that's the one credit card are not accepted, Master or cash only

Zimmerausstattung, Gesamtambiente Wir kamen spät zum Frühstück und einige Angebote kamen nur auf Nachfrage, beim Abendessen gab es nur ein Menue (nicht à la carte).

Vor allem die persönliche, freundliche aber kompetente Umgang des Personals mit den Gästen. Dass das Hotel und seine Einrichtung sehr schön sind, konnte man aus den vielen Fotos und Bewertungen sehen, aber das angenehme Gefühl, dort zu verweilen, muss man selber erleben. Das Hotel kann natürlich nichts dafür aber: der 2-3mal tägliche Lärm stört, wenn ein Flugzeug vom direkt in der Nähe liegenden Flugplatz Zweibrücken abfliegt. Da wir zu Hause keinen Fluglärm kennen und Hornbach ein ganz ruhiges Örtchen ist, ist es uns als unangenehm aufgefallen, als wir im Klostergarten einen schönen Rundgang machten.

Eine sehr liebevolle Küche und ganz hervorragende Mitarbeiter! Dazu ein kleiner aber sehr angenehmer Spa-Bereich. Beim Ankommen war der Empfang an der Rezeption nicht sehr einladend - Hat sich dann aber um 180 Grad zum guten gewendet hat.

Die mit viel Liebe zum Detail sehr stilvoll modernisierte alte Gebäudesubstanz. Die etwas schleppende Bedienung in der Klosterschänke passt nicht ganz zu zu der ansonsten überzeugenden Edel-Atmosphäre des Hauses.

Die ruhige, idyllische Lage bietet sich prima an dem stressigen Alltag zu entfliehen. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Familie Lösch ist es wunderbar gelungen das ursprüngliche des Klosters mit modernem und geschmackvollem zu verbinden. Der Wellness-Bereich könnte etwas größer sein. Leider gibt es bisher nur eine Sauna und ein Dampfbad für das komplette Hotel.
