Manageress helpful and inside the place was more interesting than the building implies. Really good breakfast and good nights sleep in spotless rooms.
Lovely room of good size with sofa as well as bed. Seems to have been recently refurbished. Excellent breakfast. Good friendly service.
Evening meal was expensive and only a la carte with vegetables having to be paid as extra. Good quality and presentation but would have preferred a set menu at that price.
It was in a pleasent setting
This hotel is very outdated, out of the 60's or 70's. There was a note on the locked door for us to call upon arrival. They were taking the night off so no restaurant as advertised. The woman was pleasant enough but basically shoved us in our room and told us to lock up when we went for dinner. Definitely not as described and over priced
Hotel staff has a day off every week, which means that even the elevator is swiched off!
Very good! Low price, good service, comfortable beds and very clean. Try the restaurant. It is worth.
Good breakfast included in rate Cleanliness and close to major hiking trail in the Black Forest. Also within easy walking to town centre.
Unusual operating hours. Reception was not open after 10:00 am and did not reopen until 17:30 pm . On one day of stay the hotel was closed all day- and we were only there for 3 days.It would be important to retain your old fashioned heavy key to enter alternate entrance which we were never informed about. Another guest told us how to get into locked building.
