The staff were very friendly and the hotel was warm and friendly . I think the hotel would be better if you could have an evening meal and also if they could provide tea makeing facillaties in the room. |

Good hotel at top location; very close to Dom Church, Cologne Central Railway station, several museums and the Cologne main shopping area. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast, but try to avoid breakfast peak hour as breakfast room is rather small. Small bar and lounge in the hotel; restaurant next door and many many others nearby. |

The breakfast was more than OK. The staff is excellent but the rooms are a little bit too small. Anyway, the rooms are very clean. The size of the room. |

I liked the location, the discount parking, staff professionalism and the general atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. So much was available withing easy walking distance. |

Good and rich breakfast. Hotel location very central. I have stayed in a single room. Lcd tv, big size wardrobe, a desk and a single bed. Toilet was a little small but ok. A ventilator for hot summer days. Would be nice to have extra pillows in the room. |

it's literally a few steps away from the Dom the room had a very "old and cheap" feeling to it...I wasn't comfortable..the beds were a nightmare..extremely hard.. |

Among the six hotels in which I stayed at in Europe during my trip, this hotel had the most friendly service. Upon check-in, the front desk worker was friendly. The next morning, a different person was also friendly as he allowed us a later check-out time until 12:45. The location was perhaps better than any other hotel in Cologne. It was about a one-minute walk to the cathedral, 5 minutes to the train station, and one minute to the pedestrian shopping street. The small lobby, but that's being pretty picky. |

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Easy to find the hotel, they also direct you to the very good parking with 50% on rate when you stay in the hotel. Location is superb - three steps from the river banks, two steps from the train station, and just one step from the famous Cathedral. Plenty of shops and good restaurants around. Extremely clean rooms, breakfest above expectations. Many thanks to the managers and staff, and Booking.com for pointing to the right direction. |

Very very well located. Parking very near as well (and with discount). Very good breakfast. If I would recommend it? Well... depends of what you are looking for... Cigarette smell in reception was terrible, due the bar that exists in the hotel's entrance. I would say this is a good hotel to stay, but the price you pay is for the location and breakfast (both excelent), not for the comfort. Actually this should be a cool hotel in the 70's. And it is still a cool hotel from the 70's... if you know what I mean... Allergic people, just be aware. One last consideration: I asked for a room without noises (I read in some review complains about the noise): I got it and appreciated it. But then I got a room with a view for the kitchen chimney from some other restaurant... and our room smelled potatoes! :D |

Excellent location, proximity to the cathedral, museums and shopping area, nice staff, good services and facilities. There is only one more thing I would have liked to have in the room: air conditioning; the rest was perfect. |

It has one of the best locations in Cologne - very near the Dom Cathedral, Rhine, Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), Ludwig Museum, Roman-Germanic Museum (Römisch-Germanisches Museum), restaurants, bars, shopping. |

Very close to the dom. A few steps to the Hoeh Strasse. Walking distance to the Hauptbanhhof. Excelent breakfast. Honest price, Good and comfortable double bed. That is all one needs. I have stayed there many times. I reccommend it. I did not read the guest reviews because I already knew it. |

Location was very good-next to restaurants, shopping, sights, esp. the Dom. The front desk manager was very accomodating and friendly. Of course, yet again, too loud to be able to keep windows open at night for sleeping-room was hot. Room very small, bathroom small. Could barely walk in room with a baby bed there, too. No baby seat for breakfast, at all. Found many hairs on bedding and in bathroom. Had to park very far away, and hard to find a space to unload luggage. |
