Location within Leipzig. The location above a night club did not make for a very good nights sleep. Also the attempt at giving each room a theme failed miserably, the room we stayed in was De Sade by theme but in what way was difficult to discern. Breakfast was functional.

Fair value for money, good breakfasts, convenient location. Due to a disco running every night until 2.30 in the morning, I found it very noisy and virtually impossible to get a good nights sleep. The noise was so bad that I had to leave after 3 nights, although the hotel did give me a reduction on the rate they were charging.

The location is great, on the western edge of the inner central downtown within easy walking distance of the main train station. Room was basic but comfortable enough. New bathroom fixtures and plumbing. Breakfast was good. Lots of nearby restaurants for meals. The main floor of the building looks like it's under construction, but have a feeling that's how they are going to leave it. Hotel Reception is on the 2nd floor, with rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. Be very aware - the main floor has a nightclub with live bands. Although I was on the 4th floor and on the other side of the building and it was very annoying when trying to sleep. Luckily it stopped around midnight, but I was there during a weeknight, so imagine that on the weekends it goes much later.

It was close to the centre of Leipzig, walking distance of many attractions. The location of the hotel (floor 2 and up of a multioccupancy building) and the decor were a little eccentric, but charming. I think the website slightly exaggerated how close it was to the train station-- geographically it's close but it's a longer walk once you take the streets of Leipzig into account, and I had to stop and ask for directions several times.

This is a boutique hotel with character. Granted it's an old communist monument to the enduring qualities of concrete, but each room is individually named and decorated. Comfort is adequate, the location is just outside the old city and across the street from the famous St. Thomas Church. The price is a bargain given what hotels in Germany generally cost. No credit cards accepted and the hotel lacks an internet connection as well as telephones in the rooms.

The location was ideal for my several visits to the Thomaskirche. The included breakfast was fairly good. My room on the 4th floor faced the street and it was quite noisy, especially on Friday night from the music club on the first floor and from people partying until after 3 am on the street. Saturday and Sunday nights were not as noisy.

This hotel is in a great location, and prices are excellent. The hotel is very basic and has no "kerb appeal" at all. Curtains are inadequate (nylon) and do not block the light.

Location close to the centre of Leipzig, charming old-European style pension. No internet availability, no facilities, apart from the room - should be called a pension, not a hotel.

Too noisy downstairs' bar. I could not sleep at all until 3am. It was worst experinced I have had. I do not stay this hotel never again. Also I could not cancell my breakfast (I had to pay 5 euro) even though I asked one day before. (Breakfast was 7:30-10:00)

Wonderful situation in Leipzig zentrum right across the Thomaskirche. Staff is nice The building is very old, I would say almost in ruins. Quite poor value for money (50 euro per night) considering it is in Germany.
