Hotel Kübel  

This is an excellent hotel. It is very clean and quiet. It is also very close to a walking street. The manager was also very helpful. He got me extra towels after regular business hours. He also gave me a lot of good recommendations for restaurants in the city.

Man hat sich durchaus wohl gefühlt, Personal war größtenteils sehr freundlich, Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es war ruhig, man konnte gut schlafen.

Keine Besetzung der Rezeption zwischen 11-14 Uhr. So kann man in dieser Zeit nicht einchecken und auch nicht seine Sachen abgeben. Das ist schade, wenn man terminlich gebunden ist.

Lokacija hotela,ker je v centru in dobra avtobusna povezava.

Venlig og imødekommende personale. God restaurant.

I arrived on a Sunday evening at the hotel around 6pm but the front desk wasn´t manned. There was a telephone and a number which I called to get my instructions. When I entered the room it was like entering a fridge. Outside temperatures were 5 degress that evening and no heater were switched on. It took hours to heat up the room. So I called this number again to ask for another blanket just to be informed the hotel is fully booked and no blankets left...

Sehr netter Service - freundliche Mitarbeiter. Sehr sauber. Zimmer lag zum Hinterhof - ruhig. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Von Autobahn aus schnell erreichbar. Kostenloser Parkplatz beim Hotel.

Restaurant war bei Ankunft gegen 20:30 Uhr / 21 Uhr schon geschlossen. Es fehlt ein Hinweis auf der Homepage zu den eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten. Einfahrt zum Hotelparkplatz schwer zu erkennen (kreuzt den Gehweg) - ein kleines Schild "Hoteleinfahrt" wäre hilfreich.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war - sagen wir - bescheiden. Pappige Brötchen. Auswahl gering. Die Krönung: Ein Obstkorb, in dem Bananen ihrem Verwesungsende entgegen sahen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wäre selbst bei 50 Euro aus der Balance.

Great tapas restaurant in hotel, room was comfortable, nice bathroom, free Internet worked well in my room & lobby, weakly in restaurant, about 15 minutes walk from the train, near the main shopping street & university.

On check in I was doing fine in German with the registrar but he couldn't understand my admittedly very bad accent in German when I had to make a longer sentence, so I switched to English. He was fine in English (and Italian) but very rude to me after that. He was angry I wanted to move up floors (or to back) when I found my room was right on the street even though I'd asked for a quiet room (but he did move me up & the upper room was nice.) He told me not to do email in the lobby because he was closing – even though the lobby was totally open to the stairs & main door & I could have worked there after he left. I told him I hadn't been able to send an attachment from the restaurant because the wifi signal was too weak there, and he said "I don't believe you." Also cash only unless you have a *German* maestro card (I have an Austrian one, no dice.)

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und versorgt.

Near to the city centre / shopping mall

Rate is too high in comparison of the service / rooms conditions and also compared to other hotels of the same range. You can find better accomodations for the requested price. Visa credit card not accepted. Restaurant is nice to eat some fish in the evening but in the morning during breakfast you can still smell it and breakfast quality is poor.
