Hotel Kühler Krug

We had a large room at the top of the Hotel. The staff spoke English and were very obliging. The location was excellent for the travelling we did around the area. Restaurant was excellent, free wifi which is very important for travellers today.

Nothing we didn't like

The room was very big and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was in a very nice location by the black forest. Psrkingwas rright on site and free. A short tram ride from freiburg.

The room was very cold because although we were in mid May. ..it was not warm yet. Also breakfast was not as great as other german places we've stayed in but I think we have slightly higher standards. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Loved the hotel. I thought the beds were a little hard until I later stayed at the Marriott in Cologne. After that I decided that Germans just like their beds to be firm.

My only wish would be that their web site would have had better directions on how to get them from the train station. Where to catch the tram, what line to take and which stop to get off on.

Convienantly located on the city tram line. Excellent food

The breakfast was wonderful. We ate in the restaurant one evening and although it was a little expensive, it was worth every penny. Fabulous meals

I bit of a walk from the center of town. We caught the bus into town but decided to walk back.

The staff was very friendly and eager to accommodate us. The weather was a little warmer than we had anticipated and so the rooms were a little warm for sleeping. We wondered why breakfast was served Indoors when we had enjoyed dinner and drinks on their lovely covered terrace the night before. The Restaurant was very good. Great location for hiking in the surrounding Black Forest. We would stay there again.

It is a very nice hotel with very good rooms and great breakfast. Three stops away frim the city with the tram. Close to nature and mountain walks.

The parking was a little bit messy.

It served well for the location to what we needed. Not sure how it would be for other tourists. The room was excellent.

Hotel confortável, limpo e com bom custo beneficio. Quarto espaçoso e com boa estrutura. Café da manha de boa qualidade, serviço de internet funciona bem e o estacionamento estava disponível sem taxa extra. Foi uma boa opção de hospedagem com preço moderado.

Não tem recepção: você entra em um restaurante e o garçom te atende no balcão da cozinha. Ali ele verifica sua reserva e te fornece a chave do quarto e do hotel (cuidado pois o restaurante fecha depois das 22:00 e fica inviável fazer check-in depois disso). Também fica bem distante da parte turística de Freiburg; vale se você tiver carro ou quiser usar o bonde da cidade.

Das kleine Hotel bietet eine sehr gute Küche, allerdings sind auch die Preise entsprechend. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam.

Die renovierten Zimmer des Hotels sind relativ klein, insbesondere der sanitäre Bereich wo es wirklich sehr beengt zugeht. Schon vor 6.00 Uhr morgends rumpelt die Straßenbahn dirket am Haus vorüber!

Udvalget i morgen buffeten ikke imponerende/inspirerende. Sporvognen nedenfor stod for vækningen 5:30.

Der Kühle Krug ist ein bestens geführtes kleines Hotel am Stadtrand von Freiburg. Personal, Services, Sauberkeit, Komfort, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und natürlich auch die Lage Freiburg-Günterstal sowie die ausgezeichnete Küche bekommen deshalb die Note SEHR GUT!

Das Hotel liegt ruhig am Rand von Güntersthal, im Süden von Freiburg, an der Strasse in Richtung Schauinsland. Das Zentum Freiburgs ist direkt und ideal mit Stadtbahn in ca. 5 bis 10 Minuten zu erreichen! Hotel wird von einem sehr netten, höflichen , jungen Ehepaar betrieben, seit 16 Jahren, mit einer exzellenten Küche (er ist Koch). Die Zimmer sind sauber und teilweise mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet. Die sanitären Bereiche sind erneuert und modern gestaltet. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist ausreichend und gut. Um das Hotel gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel eignet sich für Wandern in die Berge und Stadtbesichtigungen. Wir waren insgesamt äußerst zufrieden, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig.

wir hatten angenehme Stunden im Hotel verbracht. Leider ist die Marmelade nur in Plastikpackungen enthalten. Ansonsten ausreichend und schmackhaft.

Einrichtung sehr paßt nicht immer zusammen.

La posizione, seppure lontano dal centro è ottimamente servita dai mezzi pubblici, in pochi minuti si è in centro. La posizione, di fronte alla montagna. Buono il servizio e bella la camera.
