Friendly staff,very good buffet breakfast, spotless and well serviced rooms together with good food when ordered in the restaurant contributed to a very pleasant stay.

Poor and inadequate lighting in room.

Location was good. Close to the Rhine meant the view was good (in our room at least). Close to bars and Christmas markets.

Hotel staff were arrogant. Whole hotel smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Hotel staff were arrogant (did I already say that?).

old type elevator but it works.The location is only minutes from all the action.The view out the front is direct to the rhein and to the Hohen Zoellern Bridge.

Rooms are small but I am aware of that in most places in Europe with older hotels

Location was good,about 10 minutes walk from train station although some steps and lots of uneven cobbles stones to navigate when pulling suitcases along.Many restaurants close by .Could walk to all the main sights.

Our booking was cancelled by email while we were travelling and did not have access to the internet everyday.This was later rectified by a few phone calls.We were told that Booking .com had notified the hotel that there was a problem with our Visa card (there wasn't as we had no problems anywhere else)and we never found out what the nature of the problem was,no one could tell us.Luckily we had another card with us so we were able to rebook.

The breakfast was very good, the view of the promenade and the Rhine fabulous. We were greeted by saxophone music outside our window by chance, but were able to shut out most of the street noise by closing the window when needed. The sausage supper on the outdoor terrace was wonderful with great service

Close to the Central Station and the old town. All kind of entertainment around by walk. Good breakfast

Helpful staff, best view over the river. Very strategic place to see the city.

Excellent service from the staff, i.e. helping us with car parking. Very nice restaurant. The wiev from our window - the river Rhein with all traffic. The hotel is also located very near the Dome.

very central location, easy walking distance to the Dom. Breakfast buffet was offering a good selection of food, free wireless. Rooms were sufficiently spacious

Lovely view over the Rhine, good buffet breakfast, comfortable bed. Price was a little high but there was a trade fair on at the time. Small bathroom but adequate , Powerful shower.

Hotel is above bars and restaurants so as expected little noisy with the window open. But dont be put off going there as all the hotels along the road are the same.

although it was located close to the train station, it was not easy to walk due to the cobble stone streets and pulling our luggage.
